Desire Home Care, Inc. is seeking a certified and compassionate Certified HomeHealthAide (CHHA) to join our team . The individual in this position will provide quality in-home care to our clients in Riverside. As a CHHA at Desire Home Care, Inc., you will be responsible for providing personal care, assistance with daily activities, and emotional support to our clients. You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour

Responsibilities:
Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
Help with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping
Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
Report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervisor
Follow the care plan outlined by the client's healthcare team
Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of services provided
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and the healthcare team
Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
Attend training and education programs to maintain and enhance CHHA certification
Requirements:
Must be a certified CHHA in the state of California
Prior experience in homehealth care or a similar setting preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
Compassionate, patient, and understanding nature
Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Must have current BLS certificate
Physical and TB clearance valid within the year
Ability to complete documentation via agency EMR system
SHIFTS:
No more than 8 hours, no holiday shifts
Morning, Afternoon, and Evening
