Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate helper to provide transportation assistance and companion support for an elderly gentleman in his 80s. This role focuses on safely transporting him to medical appointments and providing supportive companionship during visits.
Schedule & Hours
Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays
Pick-up: Client's home in Temecula
Drop-off: Palomar Health Rehabilitation Center
2181 Citracado Pkwy, Escondido, CA 92029
Approximately 45 minutes each way
Includes time waiting during appointments
Total: ~4 hours per day
Tuesdays & Thursdays
Pick-up: Client's home in Temecula
Drop-off: Murrieta (exact address to be confirmed)
Total: 1-2 hours per day
Frequency: 5 days per week
Care Responsibilities
Provide safe and punctual transportation to medical appointments
Accompany the client during doctor visits as needed
Offer friendly companionship and reassurance
Ensure safe pick-up and return home

7. Assisting patient in the self-administration of medication.
8. Doing patient's laundry, as appropriate.
9. Meeting safety needs of patients and using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, etc.).
10. Reporting on patient's condition and significant changes to the assigned nurse.
11. Adhering to the Organization's documentation and care procedures and standards of personal and professional conduct.
