Job Description Companions working with Osborn Home Care are responsible for providing caring companionship and conversation to the client. A companion promotes the physical and emotional well-being of the client. A companion enables clients to maintain their accustomed lifestyle and independence, helping make life more productive and enjoyable. Hourly Rate: $19.28 Knowledge and Skills Must possess High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred but not required- NYS/CT certification in one of the following; PCA, HHA, MA, CNA Experience working in the capacity of companion preferred. Must display patience, tact, enthusiasm and a cheerful deposition. Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition. Must posses the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
