MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: High School or equivalent required.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Basic Life Support (BLS) issued through American Heart Association required, or must be attained within two weeks of employment.

Companionship and emotional support to the senior client patient.
Assist with mentally stimulating activities such as putting together puzzles, crafts, card games, social interactions, music, art, fishing, and family.
Attend PSHC and other related meetings and training courses as required.
Communicate regularly with other Senior Companions, family members, and Senior Companion Program Nurse Manager both verbally and in writing.
Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned or necessary. Performs additional duties as necessary and assigned.
