The Home Inspector is responsible for performing due diligence inspections on any properties acquired by House Buyers of America. Inspectors will also assist with construction and settlement tasks that need to be completed in the field. This is a salaried role with a range of $50-$75k depending on experience.
What you will do:
Perform due diligence inspections and assess property conditions / specific repairs needed
Run detailed reports and take pictures of properties
Assist construction and settlement teams with asks that need to be completed in the field
Ensure punch-out items are complete and take detailed photos of the construction process
Inspect homes on a daily basis to ensure progress is being made
Install/remove lockboxes and other marketing material
Deliver any necessary equipment to houses
About You:
You have a Bachelor's Degree or higher
You have great communication skills and computer skills
Prefer a Licensed Home Inspector in MD, DC or VA, but not a firm requirement.

FIELD INSPECTOR Department: Operations Reports To: Director of Operations The Field Inspector is responsible for spending about 75% of the time in the field to represent the company on site before, during, and at the close out of fiber optic construction projects with construction contractors and permit jurisdictions. Most projects are within 45 minutes drive of Columbus, OH, while occasional travel for up to one week to other regions is required. Being closely familiar with company construction and documentation standards, permit applications and stipulations, and construction methods, the Field Inspector will educate, reinforce, and document quality fiber optic construction. About 25% of the time will be spent preparing presentations on project schedule and status, reviewing submitted construction logs and photos, and reconciling invoices and inventory against reported amounts.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Become familiar with company construction standards, contract terms, mapping systems, and project details
Educate construction contractors and right of way stakeholders on project requirements
Monitor construction methods and progress and make daily reports and map updates as required

Job Description
A Mobile Inspector I functions as a member of the Manheim mobile inspections team for a designated region with the primary responsibilities of conducting vehicle condition inspections on a client's lot. Their core skill is to provide accurate and complete documentation of overall vehicle condition within the parameters of a Manheim inspection.
This position will build trust with clients, engage to help them see the value in the Manheim Marketplace, and to request more inventory to be inspected by providing quality and timely inspections. As Mobile Inspector I, this role will work closely with the Sr Mobile Inspector and/or Mobile Inspector IV as they expand their inspection skills, gain familiarity with the mobile inspection role, and build relationships with clients.

Primary Duties & Key Responsibilities
Will work closely with more senior mobile inspectors and mobile inspections management while they expand their inspection skills and gain a better understanding of the role.
Conduct a thorough vehicle inspection.
Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles on dealer/clients' lot safely.
Verify vehicle identification and enter accurate vehicle information into the inspection system to correct VIN, mileage, and sub series.
Inspect vehicle equipment and options, documenting results including damage, missing or inoperable items.
Inspect and record vehicle exterior condition, including but not limited to tires, frame, glass, panels, and mechanical components.
Inspect and record the vehicle interior condition, including but not limited to seats, dashboard, and options.
Perform basic mechanical checks on vehicles including powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
Prepare and provide daily activity reports to management.
Be able to pivot and adapt to changes in daily appointments to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of each dealer visit.
