Senior Product Marketing Manager
Sesame 4.7
San Francisco, CA jobs
Sesame believes in a future where computers are lifelike - with the ability to see, hear, and collaborate with us in ways that feel natural and human. With this vision, we're designing a new kind of computer, focused on making voice companions part of our daily lives. Our team brings together founders from Oculus and Ubiquity6, alongside proven leaders from Meta, Google, and Apple, with deep expertise spanning hardware and software. Join us in shaping a future where computers truly come alive.
About the Role
Sesame is looking for a SeniorProduct Marketing Manager to lead product marketing efforts across hardware and software. You'll drive upcoming launches for Sesame's software and play a central role in shaping how we position, learn, and iterate on our hardware roadmap.
This role is equal parts strategy and execution: you'll define messaging and audiences, run customer and market insight loops, partner deeply with Product, Design, and Engineering, and build marketing programs and experiments that turn early signals into repeatable growth. You'll thrive here if you like operating with ambiguity, moving quickly, and doing whatever it takes to learn and ship. As our first PMM hire, you'll have a broad scope across the funnel-whether that's launching a lifecycle campaign to test messaging, partnering with agencies on packaging, or leading strategic alignment with leadership.
Responsibilities
Lead product marketing for Sesame across hardware and software, supporting upcoming launches and ongoing iteration.
Own and evolve audience definition, positioning, messaging, and narrative across the funnel-from first impression through retention.
Establish a fast customer + market learning loop: synthesize qualitative and quantitative insights to inform GTM strategy and product decisions.
Develop and run lifecycle marketing experiments (in-app and out-of-app) to test messaging, drive activation, and improve ongoing engagement.
Own App Store positioning and optimization (e.g., story, messaging, conversion-oriented experimentation).
Partner with agencies and internal teams on standing up new surfaces and channels that reinforce product proof points at a brand level (web, packaging, etc.).
Build and maintain competitive and market intelligence to inform strategy, differentiation, and roadmap conversations.
Operate with a “do what it takes” mindset: create scrappy, high-quality outputs when needed (docs, landing pages, tests, launch assets) and drive alignment across stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
8-10+ years of experience in product marketing (or closely related roles like insights/lifecycle marketing with substantial product marketing scope).
Proven track record in driving positioning, messaging, and audience strategy, and translating it into GTM execution.
Demonstrated ability to use customer insights + data to influence strategy and deliver measurable outcomes (e.g., retention/engagement, conversion, consideration).
Strong cross-functional leadership skills with experience partnering deeply with Product, Design, Engineering, Data, and Sales.
Comfort operating in high ambiguity with a bias toward action, iteration, and end-to-end ownership.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience marketing products that blend hardware + software (or adjacent: consumer devices, connected products, mobile + device ecosystems).
Exposure to AI products or AI-enabled consumer experiences.
Experience at a high-growth startup (Series A-C) where scope was broad and teams were still being built.
Sesame is committed to a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered. We welcome all qualified applicants, embracing diversity in race, gender, identity, orientation, ability, and more. We provide reasonable accommodations for applicants with disabilities-contact ****************** for assistance.
Full-time Employee Benefits:
401k matching
100% employer-paid health, vision, and dental benefits
Unlimited PTO and sick time
Flexible spending account matching (medical FSA)
Benefits do not apply to contingent/contract workers

This is a foundational role responsible for hiring, developing, and leading a world‑class engineering team while shaping the technical strategy and execution for one of the company's most impactful new initiatives.
You'll own the roadmap for 0→1 monetization infrastructure, to build the most robust, safe, and scalable platform for creating, managing, and running ads. You will collaborate deeply with product, design, and research to define the future of monetized AI experiences-and ensure these systems uphold OpenAI's highest standards for safety, privacy, and policy alignment.
This role is exclusively based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees.
In this role, you will:
Build, lead, and develop a diverse, high‑performing engineering full‑stack team
Define and own the technical strategy, roadmap, and execution plan for OpenAI's core monetization and ads systems. Specifically build APIs and advertiser‑facing products that help them create, manage and measure their ads.
Create integrations with partners and create enterprise class products.
Guide the architecture of products and systems that operate at massive scale and require high usability, reliability, privacy, and performance.
Collaborate with Product, Research, and Design partners to define product requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and bring new experiences to market
Drive 0→1 product development through rapid prototyping, experimentation, and iterative deployment
Ensure your team operates effectively, maintains high engineering rigor, and consistently delivers against ambitious goals
Coach and mentor engineers to elevate their impact and grow to their full potential
Build processes and culture that enable fast learning, high trust, and responsible innovation
Ensure all monetization systems meet the highest standards for safety, privacy, fairness, and policy compliance
You might thrive in this role if you:
Have 7+ years of experience managing high‑performance engineering teams in fast‑paced, rapidly shifting environments
Have 10+ years of experience building consumer, enterprise, or ads products at large scale
Have a track record of building and scaling critical products with strong usability, reliability, performance, and safety constraints
Are skilled at defining technical roadmaps, setting long‑term direction, and navigating ambiguous product spaces
Care deeply about people leadership, coaching, and helping engineers achieve peak performance
Bring strong product intuition and can work across Product, Design, and Research to shape new user experiences
Thrive in 0→1 environments where strategy, architecture, and execution all need to be defined from scratch
Communicate clearly, think holistically, and make decisions grounded in both user needs and long‑term sustainability
Bonus: Bring experience collaborating in ads systems, marketplaces, or other monetization‑heavy domains

Senior product manager job at Homebase
Hi, Future Homie!
At Homebase, you'll join a team that's bold, fast-moving, and obsessed with helping small businesses thrive. We build with empathy, act with urgency, and take big swings that drive real-world impact. Here, every Homie shows up to raise the bar, support one another, and celebrate wins as a team.
We're not just building an app-we're building unstoppable teams. So what do you say, are you in?
📍Your
Impact
Starts Here
We're looking for a Senior Growth Marketing Manager to accelerate how small businesses discover and choose Homebase. You'll own high-impact acquisition programs across paid digital, offline, and emerging channels, pairing creative intuition with sharp analytical thinking.
This role blends hands-on execution with strategic leadership - shaping our channel mix, driving experimentation, and unlocking new ways for Homebase to show up where small business owners already are. You'll collaborate deeply across the GTM and Product ecosystem to fuel high-quality signups and paid customer growth.
Here's how you'll contribute:
Own and scale acquisition across modern growth channels
Lead paid acquisition across core digital channels
Launch tests across emerging and test channels (e.g., Influencers, paid social)
Coordinate with Content and Brand programs to build brand authority and visibility
Run innovative, AI-enabled growth experiments
Build experimentation roadmaps with clear hypotheses, structured tests, and fast learning cycles
Apply the scientific method rigorously - structured tests, strong analytics foundations, rapid iteration
Identify new, creative, influencer, and emerging channels where small business owners discover products
Build automated workflows that scale acquisition
Create or refine AI-powered automations connecting analytics → creative → bidding → reporting
Use tools like AirOps, Zapier, Claude, Perplexity, Profound, and other LLM-based systems
Scale content-led acquisition via automated, human-in-the-loop blog and video workflows
Optimize channel mix, strategy, and early funnel performance
Assess current mix and quickly propose “dial up / dial down” strategies that impact signups in the first 30-60 days
Partner with our digital agency - but with hands-on ownership of campaign changes when needed
Experiment with direct mail, audio, CTV, and other high-potential non-core channels (nice-to-have)
Drive higher-quality signups and conversions to paying customers
Focus on quality, not just volume - measuring early engagement, activation, and paying conversion
Use segmentation, routing, and creative optimization to increase quality signups
Collaborate across a deeply cross-functional GTM system
Work closely with Organic, Creative, Product Marketing, Product Growth, Lifecycle, Sales, and RevOps
Ensure unified customer journeys from acquisition → onboarding → paid conversion
Operate with high collaboration and shared ownership across the funnel
🚀 The Foundation for Success - These are the experiences and strengths that will set you up for success in this role:
5-8+ years in growth marketing, acquisition, or performance marketing roles
Demonstrated success driving growth through GEO, AEO, SEO, and LLM-based discovery
Hands-on experience managing campaigns in Google, Meta, Bing (scrappy budget environments preferred)
Proven ability to manage and get leverage from digital agencies while also being hands-on in platforms
Strong experimentation rigor - hypothesis-driven testing, structured measurement, and iteration discipline
Experience in consumer or prosumer growth environments (e.g., Canva, HoneyBook, insurance, marketplaces)
Daily use of AI tools; ability to show measurable workflow improvements
Experience building automated growth workflows (e.g., reporting, keyword ops, creative briefs)
Familiarity with LLM-driven search ecosystems, citation strategies, and E-E-A-T improvement
Scrappy operator who thrives with lean resources (no $100M budgets here - you're excited by constraints)
High urgency and pace; ability to drive meaningful acquisition impact within the first 30 days
Strong communicator who earns trust across GTM and Product
Comfortable going deep in the details while owning strategic outcomes
🤝 The Homie Way - These principles guide everything we do-from how we work and make decisions to how we show up for each other.
💡 Be Customer Obsessed - Solve problems with empathy and creativity.
⚡ Move Fast, Learn Fast - Experiment, take action, and grow every day.
🎯 Own Your Impact - Think big, focus on what matters, and make decisions you stand behind.
🏆 Master Your Craft - Excellence fuels impact-show up, step up, and make your mark.
🏅 Win Together - Put goals over roles, lead with trust, and connect to our mission and each other.
