The Extended Care Staff members will report to the Principal.
The After-School Caregiver is responsible for overseeing and engaging a group of children between the ages of 4 and 12, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional growth during after-school hours. This individual will supervise activities, help with homework, and foster a positive and nurturing environment. The caregiver will be expected to implement the program's schedule, manage group behavior, and work collaboratively with other staff.
Job Responsibilities:
● Child Supervision:
As one of four staff, supervise a group of up to 50 children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Childcare workers should be up, moving around and not sitting by themselves or on their cell phone.
Ensure children are engaged in activities, both structured (e.g., homework, arts and crafts) and unstructured (e.g., free play, games).
Maintain a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all children.
Assist with the social and emotional development of children by encouraging positive interactions and teaching the proper way to resolve conflicts.
● Activity Planning and Implementation:
Assist in the planning and implementation of daily activities, including arts and crafts, physical activities and games.
Ensure age-appropriate activities are available for both younger and older children while promoting teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking through engaging activities.
● Homework Support:
Assist children with homework or academic enrichment, providing a quiet and conducive environment for learning.
● Communication:
Maintain clear and positive communication with children, parents, and other staff members.
Respectfully provide feedback to parents regarding their child's progress or behavior, as necessary.
Collaborate with other caregivers and staff to ensure smooth program operations.
● Behavior Management:
Use positive reinforcement and effective techniques to manage behavior.
Enforce program rules and encourage respectful behavior.
Address disciplinary issues in a calm yet firm manner and follow up with parents or guardians when necessary.
● Health and Safety:
Ensure all children are accounted for by taking attendance and having parents sign their children out when picked up. ALWAYS have and accurate count when transitioning.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, including emergency procedures and accident reporting.
Administer first aid when necessary and inform parents/guardians of any health concerns. Basic first aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire).
● Team Collaboration:
Work as part of a team with other caregivers and staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive environment for the children.
Notify the Director and find yourself a substitute in the event you are unable to show up for work due to illness or vacation.
Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
● Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and move around for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs alone 50lbs with assistance (for carrying supplies or assisting younger children as needed).
Must be able to quickly respond to emergency situations if they arise.
Working Conditions:
● The position requires working after school hours, typically from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (with occasional earlier start times due to early dismissal: 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM)
● Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Education/Experience: A High School Diploma/GED required.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand and walk 90% of work time; sit and/or drive 10%. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and/or pull 60 pounds; must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch and reach. All the requirements are necessary in order to properly supervise and assist individuals with disabilities. Should be able to climb stairs/ladder and have good balance. Vision is required in order to drive.

The Care Partner (CNA) provides direct care to residents in our Memory Care and Assisted Living neighborhoods, including activities of daily living, therapeutic activities programs, and restorative programs with a special emphasis on providing for the unique needs of residents with mild to severe dementia. Assists in personal grooming of residents including brushing hair, brushing teeth, trimming fingernails and toenails, and assisting residents in dressing or undressing. Fold or hang clean clothing items and place soiled items in the hamper.
Removes soiled bedding and replace with clean linens as needed
Assists residents in using bathroom and peri-care. May be required to provide, remove, and clean bedpans, urinals catheter bags, and bedside commodes.
Takes and records vital signs of residents, e.g. temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate, and records information.
Assists residents to the dining area for meals or provides meals in the room as required. Assists in delivering dining service to residents and documenting intake of nourishment. Serves between-meal nourishment and assists as needed. Records amount eaten. Except when contraindicated, maintains clean pitcher and cup, and fresh water at the bedside of each resident.
Assists in maintaining cleanliness, condition, and supplies in resident apartments by observing and reporting housekeeping and maintenance needs and obtaining care supplies from the facility or family as needed.
Maintains all work and service areas in clean and orderly condition.

Position Summary
Under the direction of the Extended Day Director, the Extended Day Assistant will work with the Extended Day team to support the on-the-ground planning and implementation of the Extended Day Program. This position is a part-time position, requiring approximately 20-25 hours per week.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and supervise nap for toddler and primary children.
Supervise indoor and outdoor recess for ages 3-12.
Assist in planning and organizing exceptional, enriching extended day lessons and activities for children ages 3-12.
Work collaboratively with the team to implement program activities
Work within the schedule to ensure smooth and effective transitions between program activities.
Daily room set-up and break-down, including but not limited to moving materials, supplies, and equipment necessary and setting up classrooms.
Provide classroom coverage due to absences as needed.

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with significant pediatric or urgent care/ER experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the local clinical leaders, APPs are responsible for evaluating and providing evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in an urgent care setting.
Provide expert assessment and treatment of acute injuries and illnesses for both in-person and telemedicine patients, including but not limited to the management of the febrile infant/child, ear/nose/throat infections, pediatric abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma.
Perform common urgent care procedures, including but not limited to abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive.
Obtain and provide preliminary interpretation of radiographs with radiologist over-reads -- (only in applicable states). All necessary training will be provided.
Oversee daily operations and patient flow for both in-person and telemedicine visits, with oversight of other providers, staff, and trainees on shift.
Ensure efficient operations by adhering to established policies and procedures and proactively report any necessary changes to the management team.
Collaborate with both on-site and telemedicine teams to assure completion of daily tasks, including but not limited to lab and radiology result review, patient follow-up, and timely responses to patient calls and questions.
Promote a safe, secure, equitable and healthy work environment by enforcing safety protocols, upholding quality standards, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidential in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Update knowledge and skills through our internal training program, continuing education opportunities, professional publications, and participation in professional organizations.
Actively contribute to service recovery efforts by assisting staff and patients with complaints.
Focus on efficiency metrics to improve in-person and telemedicine urgent care flow, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience.
Qualifications

Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies
Minimum 2 years of independent pediatric clinical experience as an APP (outside of rotations) or at least 1 year in urgent care or emergency medicine.
Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR (eCW experience preferred)
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally
