To be successful in this role, you will need to be efficient, neat and a natural multi-tasker who can partner with a busy, two working parent household (Dad works from home). The family is looking for a long term partnership with a nanny who is compassionate, respectful, flexible, upbeat and positive. A nanny experienced with twins or supporting families with multiple young infants/toddlers would be an ideal match for this family. Flexibility as needed for additional hours is essential - weekends, travel with the family (infrequent, international travel), etc. Strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail and common sense/good judgment are key to this role. Fluent French skills and Montessori training are preferred, however the family will consider all qualified candidates. Location: Dumbo, NY Start date: ASAP Days/times: Guaranteed 40 hours/week (minimum) Monday to Friday: general hours to land between 9am - 5pm with flexibility as needed for additional hours. Earlier/later days, travel, etc is expected. Children: Newborn twin sons (b. Sep 2025) Conditions: $35 - $45 per hour* plus unlimited metrocard (or equivalent), sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations. Family open to offering a healthcare stipend based on candidate needs For further consideration, applicants must possess the following: Minimum of 3 years experience working with families with multiple young children (twin infant experience would be ideal) A well-suited demeanor + recent experience working with infants and toddlers Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, and high emotional intelligence Ability to complete light, child related housekeeping duties (laundry, meal preparation, organization, etc) and maintain all common areas in a clean and tidy state Experience in partnering + supporting parents with infant and toddler milestones Education or equivalent practical knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development A flexible schedule and ability/interest to support family in NYC with potential additional travel Current passport (or ability to obtain)
