LIGHT HOUSEKEEPING
This task includes dusting, vacuuming, tidying rooms, spot clean walls and carpets, cleaning refrigerator interior and exterior, wiping stove tops, stove hoods, backsplashes, kitchen tables and counter tops, washing dishes, emptying trash, sweeping/vacuuming and damp mopping kitchen and bathroom floors, cleaning bathroom fixtures. Make the bed by removing bed linens and making the bed with fresh linen.
BATHROOM CLEANING
Sweeping and damp mopping bathroom floor, cleaning medicine cabinet mirrors, cleaning bathroom fixtures for the sink, toilet, bathtub, and shower. This may also include cleaning the toilet, including wiping down toilet seat and toilet base and cleaning the tub, shower walls and floors.
KITCHEN CLEANING
Cleaning refrigerator exteriors, wiping the stove, oven, hood and backsplash, cleaning the kitchen table and countertops, washing, drying and putting away dishes, stacking and emptying the dishwasher, cleaning the sink, cleaning kitchen cabinets, vacuuming or sweeping the kitchen floor and damp mopping the floor and taking out the trash.
GROCERY SHOPPING
Trips to and from the closest grocery store and/or food bank for client groceries. Includes obtaining a shopping list and money/food card from the client for grocery purchases, going to the store or food bank returning to the client's home and putting the groceries away in the refrigerator or cupboards, and providing the client with a receipt and any remaining change.
LAUNDRY
Collecting and sorting dirty laundry from client's home and washing, drying, folding, returning clean laundry to client's home, putting the clean laundry in drawers or arranging them on hangers and hanging them in the closet.
MEAL PREPARATION
Preparing food that can be completed in a short time frame such as sandwiches, soup, heating frozen dinners, scrambled eggs, toast, and salads.
Candidates' seekers should be personable, organized, and enjoy working and assisting the elderly with a solid work ethic, with the initiative for quality and customer service
Candidates that drive or may be a Personal Care Aide or a Home Health Aide are preferable!
EDUCATION:
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
HOURS:
Applicants must be able to work during the day, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm - No Weekends
We have two programs that can guarantee 40 or 30 hours per week.

Blood Product Transfusion
On the order of the attending physician, must be able to appropriately check blood products with a 2nd qualified clinician and safely administer. Must be able to obtain blood products from the blood bank or blood gas lab.

Shares 24-hour call responsibility with other teammates to ensure continuous coverage. Must respond promptly when paged or called. Keeps accurate records for each assigned case. Verifies correct charges. Assists perfusionist with charting during extracorporeal support
Assists with and sets-up equipment to ensure proper placement and preparation of devices in O.R. Evaluates new equipment prior to clinical use. Maintains competencies for all devices used as well as blood product transfusion. Manages and maintains QC-records and protocols on autotransfusion devices. Cleans, and inspects equipment to ensure devices are in working order. Performs routine maintenance and repairs and/or arranges services. Monitors equipment availability and providing substitutions as needed for scheduled surgical cases. Identifies and reports sub-optimal performance of equipment to the appropriate persons. Monitors supply usage and initiates reorders according to established par levels in all assigned areas. Other duties as assigned

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS
+ Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
+ Prepare the treatment room for examination of pets and all necessary medical item and supplies (e.g. vaccinations, fecal loops, slides, etc.) for the veterinarian and/or veterinary technician. Set up fecals, smears, and skin scrapings as allowed by state rules and regulations.
+ Maintain the flow of the Cycle of Service in accordance with position. Provide Client Education regarding preventive care, Optimum Wellness Plans, and basic status of hospitalized pets. Serve as support to the Client Services Coordinator staff on an as-needed basis.
+ Hold or restrain pets during examination, treatment, or inoculation.
+ Prepare routine in-house laboratory tests (e.g. canine heartworm, feline leukemia, FIV, and canine parvovirus) as allowed by state rules and regulations.
+ Monitor the comfort of hospitalized patients. Ensure the comfort of hospitalized patients by "walking", exercising, feeding, and cleaning cages and pet (when approved by the veterinarian or veterinary technician).
+ Bathe and dip pets when necessary to treat dermatological conditions (when advised by veterinarian or veterinary technician.
+ Clean the surgical suite and instruments.
+ Ensure cleanliness of the hospital including but not limited to housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, mopping, cage cleaning, trash collection and removal and instrument cleaning as outlined by hospital protocols
+ Other job duties as assigned.

The position will be active in patient care through Pediatric Otolaryngology offices operated by the Childrens Hospital of the Kings Daughters with office locations in Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Newport News.
Responsibilities
Provide outpatient care and medical management as directed for a variety of Pediatric Otolaryngology diagnosis. Orient residents and nursing staff to departmental treatment guidelines and protocols and monitor compliance in an effort to decrease practitioner variability, decrease cost, improve quality and patient satisfaction.
Provide initial and follow-up continuity evaluation and management services to patients as assigned; provide initial consultation services; provide continuity follow-up services.
Provide family education for a variety of Otolarngology disorders.
Participate in the development of clinical pathways/care plans/guidelines/protocols in conjunction with faculty.
Assist Pediatric faculty members with in office procedures.
Facilitate communication between faculty and residents and nursing about care plans and outpatient follow-up plans.
Collaborate with clinic nursing staff to triage medical calls from patients, referring and primary care physicians.

Coordinate scheduling and referrals.

Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Nurse Practitioners must have a MSN with a nurse practitioner focus. Must be a licensed RN by the Virginia Board of Nursing and a certified nurse practitioner. Physician Assistants must be licensed as a PA in the State of Virginia. Prior experience in Otologaryngolgy related services is preferred but not but required.

Mcare Agency LLC Partner Provider Placement
Mcare Agency is seeking an experienced Advanced Wound Care Provider to support our partner healthcare organization across the Virginia region. This role requires an independent, highly skilled clinician with a strong background in wound management, graft applications, debridement techniques, and advanced wound care protocols. Candidates must be comfortable traveling between patient locations and providing high-quality field-based wound care under physician oversight.
This position is ideal for clinicians who thrive in mobile wound care, manage their schedules efficiently, and deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Work Location & Travel Requirements
Service area: Multiple regions across Virginia
Travel radius: 30-50 miles from the candidates home location
Mileage reimbursement provided based on company policy
Must be comfortable performing field visits in homes, SNFs, ALFs, and rehab facilities
Weekly Visit Requirements
Minimum visits per week: Up to 20 visits (varies based on route planning and caseload)
Clinician must demonstrate strong time-management and independent workflow management
Key Responsibilities Advanced Wound Care
Perform comprehensive wound assessments, documentation, and care planning
Provide advanced wound treatments, including:
Grafts (cellular & tissue-based products)
Debridement sharp, enzymatic, mechanical
Negative Pressure Wound Therapy (NPWT)
Surgical/complex wound care coordination
Apply evidence-based wound management techniques
Evaluate wound progression and modify treatment plans as needed
Clinical & Collaborative Duties
Work independently in the field while maintaining communication with supervising physicians
Follow established clinical protocols, documentation standards, and compliance guidelines
Document visits in the EMR system accurately and on time
Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams (PCPs, facility nurses, podiatry, and specialists)
Educate patients and caregivers on wound prevention and self-care
Maintain accurate inventory of wound care supplies
Compliance & Quality
Adhere to VA state regulations and all supervising physician requirements
Maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate clinical reporting
Participate in quality assurance, audits, and outcome-tracking initiatives
Required Qualifications
1 to 3+ years of hands-on wound care experience (home health, SNFs, outpatient wound clinic, mobile wound care).
Demonstrated experience with:
Skin substitutes/grafts
Advanced wound modalities
Independent field wound care practice
Licensure in the state of Virginia as one of the following:
Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Active wound care certification preferred:
WOCN / WOC / CWCN / CWS / WCC / DWC / AP-WCA
Reliable vehicle, valid drivers license, and auto insurance
Ability to travel daily within the assigned radius
Strong clinical judgement, autonomy, and confidence in patient-facing care
Preferred Qualifications
2 to 5+ years of direct wound care experience
Experience collaborating with physicians in mobile wound care settings
Knowledge of reimbursement, documentation requirements, and CPT coding (wound care related)
Strong communication and route-planning skills
Compensation Package (Virginia Market Estimates)
To align with common wound care roles in Virginia
Base Compensation
Independent Contractors (1099):
$60-$85 per visit, depending on complexity & credentials
W2 Option (If Provided):
$95,000 - $130,000 annually based on experience and volume
Bonuses & Incentives
Productivity bonus after weekly visit threshold
Monthly mileage reimbursement or stipend
Performance incentives for patient outcomes & documentation compliance
Signing bonus may be available for highly experienced candidates

Support the student(s) in daily living skills in order for him/her to participate in the general/adaptive education curriculum
Provide support for OT, PT, and Speech Therapists when requested

Use time wisely so that materials are ready when needed
Consult with the teacher and/or principal concerning behavioral expectations
Supervise identified student(s) in the hallways and bathrooms, on playgrounds, and at rest time in a safe, structured, and positive manner that supports the expectations of the teacher and/or administrator
Supervise identified student(s) in non-instructional situations in the manner prescribed by the teacher and/or principal
Use time efficiently in working with identified student(s)
Use good judgment while in the work environment, such as when deciding whether to interrupt a lesson
Assist the teacher and/or administrator in meeting the non-instructional needs of each child
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Being highly qualified is preferable. Ability to work closely and cooperatively with students, teachers, administrators, colleagues, and parents/visitors. Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or willing to become certified within sixty (60) days of being hired.
