+ Manage and consult on all insurance claims
+ Interact, consult and advise with the Law Department, Health & Safety, Business Finance and law departments, Treasury, Controllers, Human Resources, Procurement, Contract Managers, outside defense law firms, state and governmental agencies, auditors, actuaries, industry consultants and loss control professionals.
+ Continually monitor, identify and assess changes in global risk profile, market and negotiate with domestic and international insurance companies and brokers to address the specific needs and exposures of the corporation. Develop tailored insurance programs to address these risks, analyze how losses can be prevented, assumed, transferred, or insured.
+ Provide assistance and direction in connection with global acquisitions, divestitures and spins related to due diligence and insurance procurement activities. Manage all legacy liability to reduce the financial impact
+ Determine best method of protecting corporate assets, decide on appropriate risk retention levels, explore alternative funding vehicles.

The Account Development Representative is a critical entry point into our commercial organization and a core component of our centralized Revenue Associate Program. Through a structured onboarding, training, and rotational development program, Associates will gain deep product knowledge, client engagement skills, sales methodology, and commercial acumen preparing them to seamlessly transition into quota-bearing Account Manager roles upon successful completion of the program.
Associates will work alongside regional Account Managers and commercial leaders to drive client engagement, identify growth opportunities, and improve retention outcomes. This role is both developmental and impact-oriented: while learning, Associates contribute directly to revenue objectives through targeted outreach, pipeline generation support, usage expansion initiatives, and early-stage sales qualification.
This is not a support role, it is a launchpad. As an Account Development Representative, you will be directly contributing to revenue impact while building a long-term commercial career. This role serves as a strategic feeder for the next generation of revenue leaders. * Execute revenue-generating activities including prospecting, qualification, and expansion outreach across existing client accounts.
* Support Account Managers in renewal preparation, client communication, usage expansion campaigns, and identification of upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
* Engage directly with clients to understand workflows, uncover unmet needs, and position the value of S&P Global solutions aligned to commercial strategy.
* Manage outbound cadences using Salesloft, Salesforce, and CRM tools to build pipeline and advance opportunities.
* Conduct account intelligence research to prepare client meetings, evaluate whitespace, and assess risk indicators.
* Track and report progress on KPIs including meetings booked, opportunities created, usage expansion, client engagement scores, and renewal support.
* Participate in structured training covering product mastery, commercial negotiation, objection handling, and financial value articulation.
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $59,212 to $80,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual's geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual bonus incentive.

**THE POSITION**

Responsibilities and Impact:
As the key point of accountability for private market and thematic data quality, you will work closely with internal and external data providers to ensure our data mastering processes deliver trusted information for rebalances, analytics, reporting, and decision-making.
The Data Owner is responsible for the onboarding, management and quality of a variety of thematic related data items used for the production and maintenance of S&P Dow Jones-branded indices.
The successful candidate will be expected to set the standard in carrying out tasks associated with the management of thematic and private market data used for the production and maintenance of indices, setting an example for more junior analysts to follow.
