    SUMMARY: Responsible for leading a team of Maintenance Technicians offering guidance on changing over, setting, repairing, and improving performance on machine-driven production line and providing support for building improvement activities. This position will lead the maintenance team in implementing a maintenance and reliability strategy aimed at reducing breakdowns and extending manufacturing equipment life. Ensures all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically, and respectfully Overall responsibility for the progressive maintenance of the HCC facilities including providing strategic and tactical direction to the team members responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated food processing equipment, including advanced technology Directs the efficient maintenance, improvement, installation, and safe operation of food processing equipment in compliance with company, state and federal policies, procedures and regulations including OSHA, FDA, EPA, GMP, and other code and regulatory agencies. Provide maintenance records/ documentations during external and internal audits. Explains and enforces policies pertaining to safety, quality, and workplace conduct and ensures that all technicians adhere to all regulations and policies Collaborates with Director of Operations and Facilities Coordinator in developing, monitoring, maintaining, and evaluating the preventative maintenance program covering all machinery, parts, tools, and facilities Supervises the completion of work through inspections and establish a criterion to assess the quality of work performed by maintenance or contractors Manage predictive maintenance using Maintenance system to track down times, maintain records and develop root cause corrective actions to prevent repeat failures Make recommendations for manufacturing systems and process improvements Manage inventory management, planning, prioritizing and scheduling work orders to maintenance staff using the Maintenance System Evaluates each worker's performance, identifies areas of opportunity, and gives performance feedback; sets expectations, monitors delegated activities and balances workload based on individual skill and trade specialty Observes the work area to ensure that known hazards are reported and corrected and that all safety reporting and accident investigations are handled in a timely manner Leads installation and handling/maneuvering of large equipment components Monitors maintenance shop cleanliness, proper storage of chemicals, supplies, and equipment Supports and maintains close coordination with production department in all aspects including safety, new installations, projects, and processes Coordinate services with outside vendors by creating purchase requisitions Collaborates with Director of Operations in developing annual and long-range maintenance, repair, equipment overhaul plan and capital expenditure plans In coordination with HR, resolves employee relations matters and grievances filed by employees and administers corrective action as necessary QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS: Represents the company brand image and shares aloha to all customers, business partners, and co-workers at all levels throughout the company 5 years + maintenance lead or Manager experience, preferably in a food facility setting Strong Mechanical and Electrical competency; ability to understand mechanical handbooks and manuals Have working knowledge of AC/DC circuits and PLC's Forklift experience preferred Self-motivated and able to lead others. Ensures all employees are treated consistently, fairly, ethically, and respectfully • Responsible for Retail project development from initiation to roll out and collaborate to keep projects on schedule and within budget. • Work with project stakeholders to complete project charter outlining scope, goals, deliverables, required resources, budget and timing • Responsible for the complete project work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task, provide project timeline and communicate expectations to team members and departments • Determine if external consultants or contractors will be required to complete the project plan. If required, Responsible for recruiting and managing appropriate staffing resources, ensure any changes are documented with the completed change forms. • Responsible for maintaining vendor/contractor relationships for operational services needed within all regions for Retail locations and making sure vendor meets our needs. • Responsible for monitoring the compliance for Department of Health Requirements for all locations • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports to stakeholders • Complete a post-project evaluation to determine how well results were achieved and to recommend future opportunities to streamline process • Ensure all project documents are archived following project completion • Responsible for Managing and directs the Retail Operations Manager and their direct reports to ensure duties and goals are being met in a timely manner. • Conducts regular performance evaluations of direct reports and provides feedback for areas of opportunity. • Works closely and communicates with Retail Store Management, Accounting, Operations and other support departments towards the understanding, and timeliness of all Retail related procedures • Responsible for ensuring entire SOP manual is consistently updated and communicated by Retail Operations Manager. • Works with store managers both in person and remotely to ensure all SOPs are consistently followed and understood • Participates in vendor/contractor and company meetings to represent Retail Stores • Provides Retail Store Management support through scheduled & impromptu store visits and proposes updates/changes needed to keep a dynamic workplace. • Responsible for ensuring all POS operations and training are being maintained and assists in troubleshooting with the support of the Retail Operations Manager and the IT Department. • Liaisons along with the Retail Operations Manager for center management/landlords to coordinate onsite store needs during projects • Oversees with the support of the Retail Operations Manager the coordination, upkeep and proper maintenance/functioning of all in store equipment and ongoing maintenance needs • Provides Vice President of Retail with a weekly status update of all ongoing projects • Oversees special projects as directed by the Vice President of Retail and Ownership • Other duties as assigned EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: • College degree in business or a related field or equivalent work experience in the service industry • 3-year work experience in project management • 3-year work experience in related Operational Management Responsibilities • 3-5 Years of Retail Store Management experience OTHER REQUIREMENTS: • Able to work flex days/hours including weekends • Travel using personal vehicle required, current drivers license
