Prepares all send out samples to reference laboratories according to reference laboratories requirements. Maintain exceptional level of customer service; address and resolve complaints; serve as an example by providing excellent service to internal and external customers, employees, and patients. Resolve and troubleshoot test in question or missing specimens from reference laboratories. Resolve all missing encounters and resubmit missing charges. Provide support for patient invoices from reference laboratories. Coordination of dispatch and courier pick up requests for STAT specimens. Travel to other clinic locations when needed. Consults with clinicians and medical staff on matters related to laboratory services. Maintains phlebotomy, PKU, Stat, redraw, rejection, temperature, and critical/panic logs. Maintains a clean, safe, and hygienic work environment in compliance with all Policies and Procedures including but not limited to work areas, workstations, examination rooms, hand washing, infection prevention and control etc. for this position. Demonstrates an understanding of and proficiency with the application of all compliance and reporting requirements respective to Joint Commission Certification (JCC) standards. Minimum Education and Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D.
