The Associate Administrator is responsible for assigned clinical and administrative functions at HonorHealth. This position works collaboratively with the Hospital Administrator, CMO, and CNO daily. Will work collaboratively with Service Line leaders as needed. The Associate Administrator is responsible for overseeing effective day-to-day operations, short and long-range planning, effective fiscal management, development of new services and programs, and effective quality improvement processes to drive desired outcomes. Is accountable for ensuring quality, cost effective services either directly or through reporting Directors or Managers of assigned departments.
Essential Functions
Provides leadership and oversight to assigned departments or projects within a hospital, service line or other division. Works on assigned projects/departments at their facility and/or within service line with guidance from the hospital Administrator. Effectively directs the efficient operations of any assigned ancillary departments to enhance customer service and patient care.
Works collaboratively with the hospital executive team, physicians, and leaders. Resolves problems and complaints from staff, patients, physicians, visitors and vendors in a positive manner. Actively participates in hospital and/or service line operations meetings and Med staff committees. Assists Hospital Administrator to interact with hospital-specific medical directors and attending staff, especially for service coverage. Collaborates and facilitates business development of the hospital and/or service line and within the market area. Becomes familiar with Emergency management processes and is able to facilitate response in time of need.
Oversees the staff of assigned departments and ensures adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing leaders and employees. Ensures employee productivity and quality of work is in alignment with the strategic initiatives set within our mission, vision, and values. Ensures compliance with all policies, facilitates compliance with DNV standards, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity around development and maintenance of assigned department budget. Monitors hospital analytics on performance and works with Administrator to monitor success of tactics to address need for change.

Works with Administrator for driving the organization/hospital to achieve and surpass profitability, cash flow and business goals and objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and expansion of operational processes and systems.
Education
Master's Degree Health Administration, Business or related field - Required
Experience
Project management experience - Preferred
5 years of progressively responsible healthcare operations and leadership experience - Required

· Ensure patient and treatment charge information and other related data are accurate and submitted appropriately.

· May participate in inventory management, including end-of-month inventory reporting and adherence to company purchasing protocols.
· Perform duties as assigned to meet the patient care or operational needs.
OUTCOMES
· Administer medications as ordered by the physician..
· Provide patient education and follow up as needed.
· Assist with program's target goals in meeting quality metrics for patient outcomes in accordance with quality patient care and Company goals.
OPERATIONAL
READINESS
· Knowledge of and comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations, including health care professionals practice act requirements.
· Perform duties at all times within limitations established by and in accordance with company policy and procedures, hospital policy, applicable state and federal laws and regulations.
· Complete water quality verification and equipment safety checks prior to each treatment, to include second verification as required.
· Complete pre and post treatment physical assessments.
· Complete pre and post Handoff Communication with hospital nurses.
· Initiate and terminate patient treatments to include connecting and disconnecting catheters and cleaning catheter sites.
· Set up dialysis machines; report machine problems to biomedical technician and/or Acute Manager as appropriate.
· Clean, disinfect and provide quality control of dialysis machines as required by policy and procedures.
· Participate in infection control monitoring, implementation, and recording as requested.
· Use personal protective equipment as necessary.
· Be familiar with emergency equipment and all emergency operational procedures, as required by hospital.
OPERATIONAL
READINESS

· Demonstrate effective staffing based on acuity, skill mix and company guidelines.
· Ensure provision of dialysis related services such as Hemodialysis, Peritoneal dialysis, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT) and Plasmapheresis (TPE) if contracted to do so.
· Participate in all surveys as required.
· Ensure nursing care is carried out as directed and treatment is administered in accordance with physician orders.
· Ensure appropriate and required information is documented in patient records.
· Inform Supervisor, Medical Director or Physician and Hospital Liaison of all incidents, conditions, and concerns related to patient care, staff and patient safety, and in accordance with company policy.
· Prepare and maintain dialysis machines and systems per policy: maintain dialysis records, prepare dialysis water treatment system for use according to established procedure and understand technical operations to troubleshoot problems independently.
· Notify Bio-Medical Technician regarding machine or water treatment malfunctions, values out of parameters and document as required.
PARTNERSHIPS
· Communicate results of patient assessment, reassessment, and ongoing monitoring to the physician.
· Maintain collaborative working relationship with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other hospital healthcare professionals.
· Actively promote GUEST customer service standards; develop effective relationships at all levels of the organization.
· Address patient concerns timely and professionally; following hospital policy.
STAFF DEVELOPMENT/ RETENTION
· Participate in staff meetings as required. Attend and complete all company and hospital required in-service and continuing education.
· May delegate tasks to competent licensed and unlicensed staff per applicable state practice act.
· Assist with staff training as requested.
· Lead staff in team concepts and promote a team effort.
Qualifications/Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements include:
Current RN license in applicable state or compact. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
12 months or more current nursing experience preferred.
Previous experience in providing nursing care to patients on dialysis preferred.
CPR certification required with hospital approved program
Ability to pass color screening.
Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
Ability to meet minimum hospital/agency hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment.

About the position:
The Registered Nurse (RN) Case Manager coordinates all aspects of the patient's home care. You will interact with other medical disciplines as needed & provide professional care to the patient. You will also perform the admission visit to the patient in the home & determine the patient's eligibility for home care services & develop the plan of care to be followed.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
Current state Driver's License.
One-year experience as a Registered Nurse, two preferred.
Proof of current CPR and Hepatitis consent/declination.
Reliable transportation with valid and current auto liability insurance.

About the Position:

A Registered Nurse RN who excels in this roll will:
Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
Documents patient care given
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, Physician, patient and family.
Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation
Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.
Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient
What we're looking for:
Associate's Degree in Nursing Required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
Current RN to practice in the state
BLS, ACLS, PALS required within 6 months of hire.
