Mike has more than 25 years experience in the technology industry as a startup executive and as a leader of a variety of teams at larger companies. Currently he is the Founder and CEO of Hoopla.net. With offices in Silicon Valley and Philadelphia, Hoopla helps organizations steer the actions and behaviors of sales, call center, and support employees through friendly competition, recognition, and gamification techniques. Prior to Hoopla, Mike was Executive Vice President at ClickEquations, a Saas Paid Search management tool. In 2004, he joined the founding team of Turntide, an innovative anti-spam company, as VP of Sales. TurnTide was sold to Symantec in less than a year where Mike became Director of Emerging products Sales, responsible for the integration of sales teams for the east coast for all acquired companies.Prior to TurnTide, Mike was VP of Sales for Kurant, a leading provider of ecommerce solutions to small businesses, which was eventually sold to eBay and is now eBay Stores.From 1998-2002, Mike was VP of Sales for Destiny Software, a startup focused on web enabling Credit Card and Private Banking systems which grew to a run rate of over $20m.The early part of his career was spent at Symantec as it grew from $50m to over $650m in sales.Specialties: Startups, Entrepreneurship, Building Teams, Executive Leadership, Sales Process, Gamification, Motivation
