Originally from Apopka, Fla., Jason attended Auburn University at Montgomery, graduating with a degree in business management in 2008.
In 2008, a press box for the Spain Park High soccer field was constructed at a cost of $260,000, paid for with district funds.
Further improvements to Shades Mountain were completed in 2012, pushed, supported, and completed by the Shades Mountain community.
32 classrooms were added to the Hoover High campus, opened in 2013.
A multi-purpose indoor practice facility was added to the Hoover High School campus in 2013 at a cost of $2.3 million, paid for entirely with local funds.
He joined the Foundation Board in the fall of 2016 following a campaign for City Council.
