Job Posting Title: Remote Customer Service Representative
Schedule: Must be able to work any shift that falls between the hours of 7:00 am-8:00 pm CST Monday-Friday- some Saturday's may be required.
In this role, you will primarily support educators by addressing inquiries about their life and retirement insurance policies. Through phone calls, emails, and live chats, you will provide exceptional customer service, helping our clients protect their valuable assets.
No license or experience in Insurance? No problem! Horace Mann will provide the necessary training and support to help you obtain your Life license and/or your 6/63 license if you do not already have one.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop strong knowledge of Horace Mann Life and Retirement insurance products, services and policies.
Handle and problem solve customers' inquiries via phone, email, and chats.
Responsible for ensuring a great customer experience in both written and verbal communications.
Maintain quality and compliance within every interaction by adhering to all applicable company and state rules and regulations.
Responsible for proactive up-sell and cross-sell of insurance solutions to existing customer base.

Requirements
Education and Experience:
H.S. Diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree preferred).
2+ years of customer service/business/sales experience preferred.
Insurance or Finance industry experience helpful.
Licensing and Training:
Successfully complete the Service Representative Trainee Program
Obtain and maintain Life license and/or your 6/63 license within 12 months of hire and maintain after that.
Skills and Abilities:
Basic math skills and billing interpretation skills.
Effective communication, both written and verbally - ability to identify unmet customer needs and provide solutions.
Demonstrate active listening, system navigation, research, problem-solving, critical thinking, organization and time management skills.
Work Environment and Schedule:

This is a remote position but will have to go into the field and travel as needed
We are looking for a highly motivated and service-oriented individual to join our Multi-line Damage team as a Multi-line Adjuster! As an ambassador for GEICO's renowned customer service, you will work in a dynamic environment that may include repair shops, salvage yards, a customer's home or in a virtual estimating environment. You will be responsible for inspecting damage, estimating cost of repairs, negotiating settlements, issuing payments, and providing excellent customer service. This position primarily will include servicing boat, motorcycle, RV and other specialty claims.
Qualifications & Skills:
Valid driver's license (must meet company underwriting guidelines for at least the past 3 consecutive years) and the ability to maintain applicable state and federal certifications and permits
Willingness to be flexible with primary work location - position may require either remote or in-office work
Solid computer, mechanical aptitude, and multi-tasking skills
Effective attention to detail and decision-making skills
Ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, and willingness to expand on these abilities
Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent, college degree or currently pursuing preferred
Requirements:
Experience appraising automobiles - 2 years minimum
Preferred experience appraising motorcycles and RV's
