In 1992 Horizon was granted it's not-for-profit status and was renamed Horizon Home Care & Hospice Inc.
In 1995 Horizon earned accreditation from The Joint Commission, which it still holds today.
In 1995, Scott started Heritage Home Care Services in conjunction with Avalon Health Care.
In 1996, Scott reacquired the hospice program from Odyssey Healthcare and less than five years later they purchased its Utah Home Health program back from Gentiva.
A graduate of the College of Eastern Utah, Utah Valley University, and Brigham Young University, Alli began her nursing career in 1997 in the Newborn ICU at Utah Valley Hospital, where she gained a lifelong love of caring for babies and children.
From there she worked as a pediatric case manager until 2008 when she started doing respite care for her niece, who had a trach and ventilator.
In 2010 Horizon opened an inpatient hospice unit in Mequon within Columbia St Mary’s Hospital to serve its growing census of hospice patients.
