Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements
Graduated from an accredited LPN program
Currently licensed/registered in applicable State. Must maintain an active LicensedPractical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment.
One (1) year skilled nursing experience preferred
CPR certification upon hire or obtain during orientation. CPR certification must remain current during employment.

This position is responsible to perform the following according to location standards, procedures, and individualized resident care plans. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assists with formulating a plan of care for residents in the pertinent area. Provides nursing care to residents according to physician orders and regulations. Updates plan of care when needed. Observes and documents observations and care given to residents. Uses the EMR accurately. Assures physicians are notified and orders are processed. Receives and shares information; observes and reports residents' conditions. Responds promptly to resident call lights. Directs and assists with resident, family/significant other education. Notifies family on condition changes etc. Handles linens properly and disposes of soiled linens, clothing, or supplies in adherence to regulations and guidelines. Uses standard precautions by using personal protective equipment and observes transmission guidelines, washes hands between resident cares. Reports / assures timely follow up of signs/symptoms of resident infections.

Licensure Certification: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Prior work experience in the like or related position may be helpful.

LPN Charge Nurse Requirements:
Administer or assist residents to self-administer medications and treatments
Collect, store, and ensure the transport of certain specimens for laboratory studies
Communicate with physicians via telephone, fax, and Physician Communication forms
Ensure physician orders, laboratory reports, and other data is scanned and filed in resident charts
Assist in the development and revision of service plans. Inform Wellness Director of current resident needs and preferences as well as successful service approaches

The LVN/LPN/RN will serve as a construction sites designated first aid provider in the project, coordinating and implementing the safety program. The LVN/LPN will provide first aid care to injured employees, lead pre-employment exams to include drug screens, analyze tasks for potential safety issues, participate in the Workers Compensation process, and recommend appropriate risk mitigation measures to management.
Responsibilities:
Provide triage, first-aid, and/or referral to outside medical providers, if indicated.
Maintain all records of care provided to associates.
Maintain first-aid kits, inventory supplies, restock and clean equipment used to provide first aid care.
Provide accommodation recommendations related to job placement for all employees on restrictions given by a medical provider.
Provide daily activity logs to the safety team and senior leadership team. Provide analysis of all onsite incidents on a monthly basis including recommendations on how to reduce the risk and severity of injuries within the warehouse.
Understand and learn each trade and job function within the project to fully understand the body mechanics involved in every task. Be actively involved with improvements to the standard work process.
Update the communication board with health and safety tips for the building.
Essential Skills, Knowledge and Experience:
Ability to communicate health and safety needs to all levels of the organization.
Ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
Basic Qualifications:
Valid State LVN/LPN/RN license
Valid CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Must be able to work flexible shifts which could include days and occasional weekends
Ability to maintain all medical credentials
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified to teach First-Aid, CPR and AED
Experience leading and managing a team
Experience with OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910 (1904.4-7)
