Purpose of Position:
General labor to assist Farm Manager and Farm Assistant Manager in achieving required work goals. This includes, but is not limited to, daily chores, running machinery and equipment, and handle and care for live turkeys. This position will require light paperwork, some math skills, walking on uneven surfaces frequently, lifting, twist, bending and squatting frequently and varying temperature environments.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Help perform daily chores as assigned by farm management.
* Assist with maintaining litter for optimal conditions for turkeys.
* Record daily information in flock books for record keeping.
* Operate machinery and equipment when required.
* Follow all safety protocols and guidelines - wearing all required PPE ( safety glasses, respiratory equipment, etc).
* Follow all Live Production processes and procedures.
* Follow all biosecurity guidelines, including, but not limited to, showering before work each day, not wearing personal shoes on farm, using company provided boots on farm and in barns, wearing provided scrubs/coveralls in barns.
* Perform other duties as instructed and assigned by management.
* Handle and care for live turkeys in accordance with established animal welfare guidelines.
* Have open communication with fellow employees and farm management.
* Conduct self in a positive, team oriented manner.
Minimum Qualification:
* Must have reliable means of transportation to and from assigned farm.
* Good previous attendance records (school and/or previous employment).
* Able to work 7 days/week with some varied hours and with some weekends and holidays.
* Possess a level of math, reading, and writing skills necessary to successfully perform record keeping task required of the position.
* Able to lift up to 35 lbs from floor to waist height frequently, with occasional lifts from floor to full extension.
* Able to wear eye and respiratory protection equipment on a continuous basis.
* Able to walk on uneven surfaces.
Preferred qualifications:
* Valid drivers license.
* High school diploma, or actively enrolled in high school, or equivalent.

What you'll do:
Provide efficient operation of the tank farm facilities.
* Shipping and receiving of bulk chemicals in the tank farm; provides services for the prompt and accurate filling, packing, and shipping of tank farm customer orders.
* Ensures compliance with all State and Federal labeling and shipping laws and regulations on merchandise shipped from warehouse.
* Inspects and checks tank farm equipment and facilities to ensure that all equipment is in good operating condition.
* Ensures the maintenance and protection of warehouse stocks, supplies, and equipment.
* Handling, blending, and pumping hazardous chemicals outdoors.
* Transfer hazardous chemicals from railcar to tank & tank to trailer.
* Package totes and drums with product.
* Drive hostler in the yard to move bulk trailers.
* Any problems with regard to tank farm operation should be brought to the attention of Warehouse or Operation's Manager

* High School Diploma, or GED with additional schooling or equivalent business experience

Maintains accurate production information and update all department records as required.

Summary
The Event Staff (porters) are responsible for delivery of the Cornman Farms experience to all guests. This is a great opportunity for someone that is willing to do whatever needs to get done, and really enjoys working with people!
These positions focus on setting up and taking down for events. This includes dishwashing, moving and setting up tables & chairs, helping the setup and breakdown of our events in the tent, farmhouse, and barn, cleaning and helping with inventory, and assisting with the overall appearance of the grounds. Some supervised kitchen work (food prep and plating) will also be included.
Fridays and Sundays are our busiest event days, and weekday availability is also required.
Full-time, Part-time and Occasional work available

Compensation: $16 hour
In addition to the hourly rate, Porters are eligible to participate in the Cornman Farms hourly tip pool, which averages an additional $5 per hour.
Shifts can start as early as 8:00 a.m. and end as late as 1:00 a.m. Typical shifts run between 9am-11pm.

The main role of this position is to assist with the setting up and breaking down of all events, including:
Dishwashing using automatic dishwashing machine and 3 compartment sink
Moving and arranging tables and chairs
Placing linens on tables
Mopping and sweeping floors in all event spaces before and after events
Ensuring that all rentals (plates, glassware, furniture, flatware, etc) are clean and properly stored
Gives exceptional service to all customers at our events
Responds quickly to requests from guests, co-workers, supervisors and managers while being accurate, polite and enthusiastic
Maintains a professional image at all times through actions and appearance
Assists with the overall appearance of the grounds including picking up trash and debris
Cleans and maintains a safe and sanitary work environment
Demonstrates proper handling of food service equipment
Demonstrates proper handling and storage of cleaning equipment
Identifies and works to resolve any issues that might occur during events
Adheres to the highest standards of service while assisting with all areas of event operations
Conducts all business in accordance with Zingerman's Guiding Principles

Our Farm Equipment Operator safely operates various types of farm equipment such as 300 - 600 horsepower tractors, Western Star Bulk Trucks, Semi's and Spudnik conveyors. Duties include general maintenance when not operating equipment and whatever it takes to get the job done using teamwork. In this role, you will primarily be running a spreader and operating a rogator with precision ag controls including John Deere.

Qualifications:
