For more information, visit ******************** RESPONSIBILITIES: * Monitors, maintains, and oversees Statistical Process Control (SPC), Food Safety Plans and FDA programs. * Responsible for food safety and quality of finished products * Provides leadership in the development, training, and validation of all quality systems, including all aspects of food safety, food quality and sanitation * Mentors, trains, and develops FSQ personnel * Ensures plant compliance with regulatory, corporate and customer requirements * Works with regulatory agencies for site inspections * Communicates with the appropriate operations personnel to resolve day-to-day problems. * Assures the proper handling of products and services when not meeting company and regulatory requirements. * Monitors the departmental and plant-wide goals to improve quality, maximize efficiencies, and minimize costs. * Leads and implements continuous improvement activities and projects. * Leads customer and third-party audits, including annual GFSI compliant audit.
