In 1976, the Company purchased the warehouse building at 810 NW 57th Court from the original landlord in order to secure the future of the Company.
In 1979, another subsidiary, HORNER INSTALLATION AND SOLAR SALES, INC., was formed to expand the Company’s commitment to its solar pool heating product line.

In July 1995, Lectranator Company was renamed AutoPilot Systems, Inc.
In January 1996, Team HornerTM formed Kent, Lockwood & Stein, a licensed, bonded, registered and insured Collection Agency/Information Service.
In October 1997, Horner Consulting Engineering and Horner Discus moved to a new, 10,000 square foot (929 sq. meters) office facility within the Team HornerTM campus.
Lo-Chlor, L.C., in August 1998, purchased the assets of Miraclear, a water clarifier product.
In August 1998, Horner Equipment expanded beyond its traditional lines of pool & spa products to also include ceramic pool tile, coping and other decking and construction materials.

In September 2013, the BackyardXpo Sales Team was created under the Leadership of Chris Piercy to focus on sales of hardscape and construction products.

In January 2015 StoneHardscapes and BackyardXpo Sales Teams combined under the leadership of Pamela Luciani, General Manager and Chris Piercy, Sales Manager.
As of July, 2015, the TEAM employs approximately 450 employees, occupies a total of 500,000 square feet (50,000 square meters) of space, represents over 140 different manufacturers; repackages pool chemicals and accessories (TropiClear® brand); and stocks approximately 6,000 inventory items.
As of June 2016, there is one franchise in operation and 16 company-owned branches.
In October, 2016, the Color Me Healthy program expanded its offering by building a new fitness center on the fort Lauderdalde campus.
Pioneering our first international branch in India, HornerXpress® India Pvt Ltd. was launched on March 29, 2017.
