The Eden Plant is a very well-established operation in Wisconsin with long term commitments for community and environmental stewardship. The Product Handler will assist both the Assistant Operator and Kiln Operator, loading pebble lime railcars and customer trucks. Additionally, the position will be responsible for cleanliness of assigned areas. Duties are usually performed during a 12-hour rotating shifts. The swing shift is a 2-2-3 rotation; work 2, off 2, work 3, off 2, work 2, off 3 and repeats itself. Every time you come back to work you switch shifts between days and night. It adds up to working every other weekend and once a month you have a long weekend off, starting at 6am Friday until Tuesday 6am. The plant runs 24/7/365 and if your schedule falls on the holidays you are expected to work the holiday unless you have approved time off.
