Assistant Agronomist Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking an experienced and dedicated Assistant Superintendent to report directly to the Agronomist. This role involves directing and actively participating in the maintenance of all golf course areas (greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, water features, and cart paths). The Assistant Agronomist will supervise staff, manage equipment usage, oversee complex irrigation systems, and assume the Agronomist's duties in their absence, as directed. A key requirement is proven proficiency across multiple golf course maintenance specialties.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
* Golf Course Maintenance & Supervision:
* Direct and participate in the daily maintenance of all golf course components (greens, tees, fairways, bunkers, roughs, etc.).
* Schedule and supervise the work of maintenance employees and the use of equipment.
* Responsible for maintaining the job assignment board, ensuring it is accurate and filled out for the next day before leaving.
* Agronomy and Cultural Programs:
* Ensure agronomic and cultural programs are achieved and implement necessary changes to management programs.
* Requires advanced understanding of agronomy and turfgrass management practices.
* Participate in and oversee large-scale operations, including the operation of equipment, repair of infrastructure, and chemical/fertilizer application.
* Application and Equipment Management:
* Instruct and train equipment operators on the operation and care of mowing and mechanical equipment.
* Supervise and assist in all chemical/fertilizer applications, including operating and calibrating application equipment.
* Supervise and participate in the operation and maintenance of pumps and the installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation and drainage systems.
* Personnel Management and Leadership:
* Assist in personnel evaluation, employee safety, and discipline.
* Modify the daily work schedule based on professional interpretation when needed.
* Fill in for absent staff (Application Technician, Irrigation Technician, Lead Greenskeeper, etc.) to ensure scheduled activities are implemented.
* Facility Opening and Closing (Leadership Hours):
* Required to arrive 20-30 minutes before the scheduled crew start time and remain 20-30 minutes after the crew leaves.
* Opening Duties include: unlocking facilities, turning on lights, checking messages, checking the golf course, adjusting the assignment board, checking the irrigation computer, and performing all other facility opening duties.
* Closing Duties include: securing facilities, performing all Maintenance Facility and Office closing procedures, recording daily logs, posting the next day's assignments, and scheduling the irrigation computer.
* General: Adhere to all mandatory operational standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain a keen eye for detail.

* Certifications:
* Current state certification or licensing as a pesticide applicator is required.
* Valid driver's license or CDL is required, with the ability to meet driver insurability requirements. (Minimum age 21+ if driving a licensed Resort vehicle).

Responsible for maintaining a maintenance and project checklist/schedule for preventive maintenance and ongoing improvements.
Communicate effectively with supervisor to coordinate, prioritize, document, and complete work requests from Department Heads, members, and guests.

Job Summary:
The Lifeguard is responsible for ensuring the safety of all members, guests, and staff in and around the pool area during operating hours, special events, and private functions. Position Definition
The IT Administrator / IT Technician is a hybrid support role responsible for delivering Tier 1 technical support, executing daily IT operations, and providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the IT Leadership team. A minimum of 2 years of experience organizing and running social events for members.

Team Leadership & Scheduling
The Supervisor organizes daily work assignments for the janitorial team and ensures tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule. They assist with training new team members and passing along established cleaning procedures to maintain consistent standards. The Supervisor ensures the team works within the 7:00 AM-7:00 PM schedule while remaining flexible due to weather conditions or resident activity.
Daily Operations & Safety
The Supervisor oversees routine trash removal, cleaning and sanitizing trash rooms, and maintaining pool restrooms using approved disinfectants. Safety is a priority at all times. All cleaning products and equipment must be used properly and stored only in designated janitor closets. Fire risers, fire alarm rooms, and elevator rooms are never used for storage, and all work areas must remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety requirements.
Cleaning, Maintenance & Quality Control
The Supervisor helps lead and perform heavier cleaning tasks such as power washing garage floors and pressure washing grill areas. High-traffic areas, including elevators, hallways, and entryways, are closely monitored to ensure floors are properly cleaned and rugs are spot-treated daily. The Supervisor also handles basic maintenance tasks such as replacing lightbulbs in common areas and checking propane levels at grill stations.
Communication & Coordination
The Supervisor works closely with management to ensure necessary supplies and equipment for routine and deep cleaning are available on-site. Any work that falls outside the normal cleaning scope is reported promptly for review and approval. By maintaining a consistent presence on the property, the Supervisor ensures HOA cleaning standards are met and that all common areas remain clean, orderly, and well-maintained.

About You
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry is an advantage.
Experience operating a multi-line telephone system.
Proven ability to handle sensitive member information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods.
Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments, with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases.
Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required.
Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity.

️ Engineer II - HVAC Technician (Hourly Non-Management) Job Type: Full-Time Horseshoe Bay Resort is seeking an EPA Universal Certified HVAC Technician (Engineer II) to support the maintenance and engineering needs across the resort. The ideal candidate is a proficient, independent mechanic capable of handling a diverse, fast-paced workload, addressing critical guest room and resort amenity issues, and making sound, logical decisions to resolve problems promptly.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
* HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Systems: Provide day-to-day maintenance and repair of all types of HVAC equipment, hardware, plumbing, and electrical equipment (including lamps, AC units, switches, outlets) in guest rooms and public areas.
* Preventive and Emergency Maintenance: Act as an independent mechanic to analyze maintenance problems, formulate rapid repair plans (including material procurement and scheduling), and minimize equipment downtime. Be available for emergencies to protect guests, associates, and preserve the building/systems, restoring normal operations quickly and responsibly.
* Guest Room Maintenance: Perform routine and emergency repairs, including plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing cosmetic items, and programming TVs.
* Life Safety Systems: Monitor and possess a working knowledge of the Fire Alarm/Life Safety System, including fire sprinkler and emergency power systems, to effectively handle related emergencies.
* Tool and Equipment Management: Maintain, clean, lubricate, and secure all departmental tools and equipment.
* Energy Conservation: Monitor the resort's energy and utilities usage, actively looking for and reporting opportunities for conservation to Engineering Management.
* Documentation and Reporting: Accurately read, log, track, and interpret readings from meters and gauges. Maintain a thorough daily log of activities and problems, ensuring clear communication across shifts.
* Team Support and Training: Work neatly, efficiently, and maintain clean work areas. Provide technical advice and on-the-job training to other engineers as requested to support staff development.
* Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all departmental Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and continuously seek out and correct hazardous conditions to maintain a safe work environment for all. Follow all Resort rules and policies.
Required Employment Standards and Qualifications
* Certification:EPA Universal Certification is mandatory.
