Strong information technology skills especially related to inspection measuring and test equipment, digital gaging, and quality systems. Familiarity with export compliance requirements including DFAR and ITAR.

About the Role Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 per year Location: Bridgeport, CT - Hybrid (1 day/week onsite) Reports to: Sales & Merchandising Manager We are seeking a detail-oriented Product Data Manager to serve as the primary steward of technical product data across our ERP (Acumatica) and E-commerce (Shopify) ecosystems. This is a critical role that ensures that our tools, equipment, and consumables are accurately represented for our customers and internal teams. You will manage the single source of truth for thousands of SKUs, overseeing everything from technical specifications to packaging dimensions. This position works closely with other departments including Purchasing, Marketing, Sales, and E-commerce to maintain high data accuracy and support new product launches. Success in this role means maintaining highly accurate, well-structured product data that supports smooth operations, confident customer purchasing, and efficient new product launches. Key Responsibilities ERP & SKU Stewardship: Build and maintain product SKUs, accessories, and replacement parts within Acumatica. Manage the full data lifecycle, including pricing classes, vendor revisions, and item replacements. Technical Specification Management: Act as the subject matter expert for product attributes. You will translate vendor documentation (electrical requirements, vacuum specs, pneumatic fittings) into clean, filterable data. Data Integrity & Troubleshooting: Audit Shopify and Acumatica listings for inaccuracies. Resolve data anomalies that affect warehouse picking, website filtering, or customer ordering. Quality Control & Physical Inspection: Visit the warehouse weekly (approximately one day per week) to inspect physical samples, verify packaging labels, and ensure kit components and packing specs match the digital record. Website Content Support: Provide technical data for RFQs and marketing catalogs, and prepare accurate, launch-ready product information and supporting website copy in coordination with Merchandising. Qualifications Experience: 3+ years in Product Data Management or ERP Item Maintenance, specifically for physical goods/distribution. Systems: Proficiency with Acumatica (or similar ERPs like NetSuite, SAP, or Sage) and Shopify is highly preferred. Familiarity with taxonomy or hierarchical data structures used in ecommerce sites as well as advanced Excel skills for bulk-editing and analyzing data is a plus Technical Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical spec sheets for industrial equipment. Detail Oriented: You enjoy finding the "needle in the haystack" when a specification is incorrect. Physical Requirement: Ability to be onsite once a week for physical product review and QC. Experience in the industrial supply, construction, or hardware distribution industry is a plus. Exceptional organizational and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

    The CNC/CAM Programmer is an important member of our programming and engineering team, supporting the production of precision aerospace components. This role acts as a liaison of excellence between the Engineering and Manufacturing (Operations) teams. You will focus on process development and CNC programming for multi-axis lathes and vertical machining centers. Time will be split between programming in a CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) environment and, as required, performing hands-on setup for first-run production. Major Areas of Responsibility: • Utilize ESPRIT CAM software to develop CNC programs (G-code) that optimize manufacturing methods for producing precision and ultra-precision components. • Collaborate with Engineering and Manufacturing teams to develop manufacturing processes, preferred tooling and work-holding, in-process deburring, and metrology that become approved production work instructions. Document all selections in ESPRIT tooling and datasheet libraries. • Leverage parametric programming, macros, and CAM software to optimize programs across families of parts. • Set up and operate production equipment during initial process development for new parts. • Determine optimal setups, toolpaths, material removal rates, surface finishes, and yields. • Train production personnel to ensure smooth transition and reproducibility in mass production. • Manage CNC programs and machine/tool setup data within the company's Product Data Management (PDM) and Distributed Numerical Control (DNC) systems. • Serve as an in-house subject matter expert and participate in lean initiatives to optimize released products, reduce setup and machine time, and improve productivity and quality. • Stay current with manufacturing technologies through research of equipment, software, tooling, and gaging systems. • Make recommendations for productivity improvements related to technology investments. • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned. Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred. • Progressive on-the-job experience commensurate with a degree will be considered. • Five or more years of advanced manufacturing experience, preferably in precision or ultra-precision machining environments. • Expert knowledge of Fanuc controls. • CNC programming experience using advanced techniques, including on-machine probing and tool setters, preferred. • Strong knowledge of work-holding, tooling systems, and CNC machine setup. • Proven working experience with CAM software for CNC programming. ESPRIT is preferred; experience with Mastercam, PartMaker, SolidCAM, or similar systems is acceptable. ESPRIT training will be provided. • Familiarity with manufacturing enterprise software; experience with Epicor ERP or similar systems is a plus.
