The first-shift CertifiedNurse s Aide (CNA) works out of our Holland office and is a member of the interdisciplinary group working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse Case Manager providing various services for hospice patients as necessary to meet their personal needs and to promote comfort. The CertifiedNurse'sAide is responsible for observing the patient, reporting these observations and documenting observations and care given.
Position Responsibilities:
Providing personal care (bathing, skin care, oral hygiene, changing bed linen, washing hair and nail care)
Assisting with patient safety needs
Assisting with ambulation and exercises as assigned
Assists with feeding, as needed
Takes and records vital signs
Assists with respite for caregiver when on-site, (as needed)
Assists with range of motion and other simple procedures to maintain comfort
Position Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
One year experience in hospice, long term care, or home care
Be a CertifiedNurse s Aide (CNA) in the State of Michigan (CNA sponsorships may be available)

You will work closely with the Home Care Supervisor to deliver compassionate, person-centered care and support activities of daily living. Primary Responsibilities:
Provide assistance, support, and guidance for participants in their homes
Travel to participant residences to provide personal care

Support housekeeping tasks such as laundry, sweeping, and grocery shopping
Assist participants on/off transportation as needed

✅ What You'll Need:
High School Diploma or equivalent

Qualifications
Must possess, as a minimum, a high school diploma, or equivalent.
Well-developed ability to show discretion and maintain confidentiality.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Detail oriented with good problem-solving skills.
Basic computer skills.
Minimum of one year of experience working with the frail, elderly, or long-term care population.
Work Environment
Communicates with staff, participants, caregivers, and other organizations as necessary.
