A DAY IN THE LIFE
The Field Scientist will perform in-field FTIR-based testing of a variety of emission sources while directly interacting with clientele. The Field Scientist must be a detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team atmosphere.

* Be engaged in the safety culture
* Work accurately, safely and efficiently
* Participate in a comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at the jobsite
* Maintain and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
* Comply with all permits and sign in procedures for the site
* Drive a company tow vehicle in a Commercial Vehicle Driver (CMV) capacity to transport the mobile lab and test equipment to the job site
* Perform in-field FTIR-based stack testing according to established procedures
* Set up, operate, and maintain analytical testing equipment
* Record data and field notes and relay pertinent process details to supervisor
* With assistance, troubleshoot and repair analytical instrumentation and sampling equipment
* Work closely with customers during in-field testing projects
* Assist with performing in-lab FTIR sample analyses and building of calibrations
* Assist in developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures
* Assist with data processing and report writing
* Ensure job site is clean, organized and free of obstructions or tripping hazards
* Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
* Perform any other duties assigned by District Manager, Sr. Field Scientist, Analytical Scientist, and Sr. Analytical Scientist

POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for general maintenance, functionality, safety and upkeep of all facility-related equipment and property owned or operated by TCA Health, Inc., NFP.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (included but not limited to the following);
Assures the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of all clinic property in accordance with OSHA guidelines including: restrooms, waiting areas, and exam rooms.

Dusts furniture and equipment.

Paints touch up and finish painting of interior and exterior walls.
Assists staff in furnishing offices, waiting areas, and meeting rooms with appropriate equipment and supplies.
Assembles and moves furniture, hangs pictures and bulletin boards, makes name plates, moves and sets up tables and chairs.
Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms.
Picks up and delivers supplies and materials to rooms.
Troubleshoots minor maintenance problems and performs preventive building maintenance involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, leaking faucets, and water fountains.
Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.

Purchases supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete projects at the direction of the Facilities Manager.

Assists in clearing snow from entrances and walkways.
Maintains outdoor landscaping and plants according to established schedule of duties.
Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
Reports work accomplished orally or on written work order to supervisor.

Opens and closes clinic according to security procedures.
Checks building at beginning and end of shifts.
Participates in building coverage by working evenings and Saturday rotation as required.
EDUCATIONAL/LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
· High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate is preferred.
· Minimum of three (3) years' experience in custodial work, preferable in a health care setting.
· Must have a current driver's license and have daily access to reliable transportation to cover all sites.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
