Position Description As a Registered Dietitian, you will play a critical role in promoting health and wellness by providing expert nutritional guidance tailored to individual needs. Collaborating closely with the treatment team, you will ensure that nutritional interventions align with medical treatments and patient goals. This is a Part-Time position, approximately 2 days/week across our Frederic and Webster, WI locations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities * Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for youth, including evaluating dietary intake, medical history, and lifestyle factors. * Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans that address specific health conditions and promote optimal wellness. * Collaborate with the treatment team, including medical personnel, foodservice, case managers, therapists, and direct care staff, to integrate nutrition therapy into overall patient care. * Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, disease prevention, and management. * Monitor patient progress and adjust nutrition plans as necessary to achieve desired health outcomes. * Stay informed about the latest research and developments in nutrition science to ensure evidence-based practice. * Document patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately and timely in compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution. * Current registration as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN). * Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and clinical nutrition principles. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively counsel and educate diverse patient populations. * Experience working in a clinical healthcare setting such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities. * Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
