Showcases a warm, upbeat, and energetic demeanor to Guests

Rotates seating with different servers to ensure even workloads for Servers, as well as ensure prompt service
Provide departing Guests with a warm salutation thanking them for their visit and inviting them to return
Supports Service Team Members in bussing dishes, sanitizing, and resetting tables on an as-needed basis
Supports other front of house Team Members to ensure that all Guest requests are fulfilled promptly
Manages the placement of Guests within the entrance area for enhancement of Guest experience and ensures the safety of all Guests and Team Members
Provides accurate wait times to Guests and recommends waiting options, e.g., seating at the bar
Answers incoming restaurant calls in a friendly, professional manner
Maintains a neat and organized workstation and entrance area
Completes tasks included on the Host opening and closing sidework charts
Ensures restrooms are clean, tidy, and stocked
Communicate with fellow Team Members and Management to keep one another informed
Ensures side work has been completed and stations are properly stocked
Notifies Management immediately of any potential issue with Guests, Team Members, and/or long wait times
SAFETY & SANITATION
Washes hands every 20 minutes throughout the shift
Maintains clean and sanitized work areas
Works with Team Members to ensure that safety and sanitation protocol is being executed to company standard

Supports other front-of-house functions as needed, recognizing that everything within the four walls of the restaurant impacts the Guest experience

Job Description Position Summary
The Host is to adhere to the host service standards of the company while taking care of our Guests when answering phones, taking "to go" orders or opening door, greeting, directing flow of guests to waiting or bar areas, when seating and thanking when departing. Remember you are the guest's first impression. Everyone's FIRST (and last) responsibility is to ensure our guests have a great experience.
Primary Responsibilities
Including, but not limited to:
Courteously open door and greet all Guests immediately upon arrival, making all Guests feel welcome and appreciated through accommodating actions with a pleasant, genuine, and enthusiastic demeanor.
Thank guests as they depart and inquire about their experience - if the response is negative, immediately contact a manager to ensure every guest leaves happy.
Stay organized, think and act with purpose and a sense of urgency.
Knowledge of food and beverage menus and pricing, specials, and promotions, as well as host standards and procedures, garnishes, food portions, accompaniments, and proper sales procedures for To Go.
Must maintain cleanliness and organization of host station and assist with stocking, running food, and side work before, during and after each shift.
Assist management team in ensuring maximum profitability through daily operations.
Ensure compliance of established goals through direction and continual communication.
Responsible for seating Guests and controlling the flow of the restaurant.
Knowledge of the operation, maintenance, and cleaning procedures for any equipment used in the performance of your job.
Effective operation and use of the phone, intercom, paging, and headphone systems.
Thoroughly bus and clean tables, booths, and chairs; sort and roll silverware, and preset dining room tables.
Ensure that floors are clean and dry.
Responsible for assisting with any To Go items including ordering, packaging, and cash handling.
Liable and responsible for sales recorded on the register under your host number (i.e., all cash and credit transactions, claiming 100% of tips, maintaining and balancing their drawer and coupon redemption, etc.).
Adhere to all current company policies and procedures (i.e., security/emergency procedures, Social Media Policy, etc.).
Communicate openly and honestly with all team members and management during periodic team member meetings, pre-meal, pep talks, and reviews.
Must know and adhere to all regulations regarding Responsible Service of Alcohol in accordance with our policies and State laws.
Knowledge of company and in-store promotions, new product rollouts, and point of sale materials; all menu items and LTO food upgrade items, additions and/or changes.
Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Specifications Experience/Training:
Must complete the Host training phases for the Host position (including, but not limited to Responsible Service of Alcohol, GHS course and quiz, Allergy e-Class, watch Best in Class Service DVD, FOH Menu test, Host test, working with a Certified Trainer and complete the Independent Study Assignments of the training).
Must possess all necessary technical skills required to effectively work in the FOH position.

We are looking for an observant, efficient barback who can work with other staff members to ensure that our customers receive prompt, seamless service. The bar back will assist in cleaning the bar, preparing garnishes, ensuring the bar is well stocked with napkins, straws, glassware, garnishes, and all other necessities, and taking on other duties to support the bartender and ensure that the bar operates smoothly. You should be knowledgeable about menu items, attentive, and focused on providing the best possible service in a fast-paced environment.
To be a successful barback, you should be passionate about working as part of a team to deliver excellent drinks and service to customers. You should be efficient, reliable, and perceptive with excellent communication and time management skills.

Barback Responsibilities:
Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.
Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
Learning about menu items and memorizing cocktail recipes.
Taking orders, preparing drinks, bussing tables, opening tabs, and processing payments especially during peak hours.
Speaking to customers, answering questions, handling complaints.
Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.
Barback Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum age to serve alcohol.
Courteous, friendly personality and professional appearance.
Knowledge of menu items, including beers, wines, cocktails, and liquors.
Basic math and computer skills.
Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally.
Observant and thorough.
Responsible, punctual.
Ability to meet physical and scheduling demands of the position, including, walking, standing, or lifting heavy items for extended periods and working nights, weekends, and holidays.
