We are looking for an experienced Bartender to join our team! You will be helping to create exceptional experiences for our customers during their experience with us by serving all customers at the bar, creating drinks for the service well, taking drink and food orders, and resolving customer issues. Bartender will be expected to learn and know all venue's cocktails. Bartender Responsibilities:
Take orders from bar customers for food and beverages.

Bartender Qualifications:
Previous experience as a bartender
General knowledge of wine, cocktails, and beer
Ability to stand, walk, and carry food trays for prolonged periods of time
Ability to effectively listen to and respond to customer needs
Must have a courteous, friendly and professional demeanor
Advanced food and beverage knowledge
Ability to multitask efficiently

Position Summary
The Barback keeps stations stocked, clean, and fully prepped for high-volume service, enabling bartenders to focus on craft-driven cocktails and elevated guest interactions. This role is fast-paced, physical, and essential to delivering the polished, seasonal, and Instagram-ready experience Lani Rooftop Lounge is known for.
Key Responsibilities
Station Preparation: Stock liquor, mixers, garnishes, syrups, and glassware for service
Ongoing Replenishment: Refill ice, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic supplies; maintain backup bottles and mixers at service-ready levels
Bar Maintenance: Keep bar stations, shelves, coolers, and prep areas clean, organized, and visually presentable
Glassware Care: Wash, polish, and restock glassware quickly and safely to meet service demand
Prep Assistance: Support bartenders with juicing, batching, garnish prep, and basic portioning
Inventory Support: Monitor stock levels, rotate product for freshness, and report low or damaged inventory to management
Setup and Breakdown: Assist with opening and closing bar setup, deep-clean tasks, and event-specific staging
Safety and Compliance: Follow all health, safety, and liquor service regulations and Lanis sanitation protocols
Team Support: Pitch in across the floor during peak times, including bussing tables or clearing service areas as needed
Qualifications
Previous barback or restaurant experience preferred; strong candidates without prior experience but with a solid work ethic will be considered
Fast learner, organized, reliable, and able to prioritize under pressure
Team-first mindset, discreet under pressure, and eager to learn about craft cocktails and hospitality standards
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and seasonal programming
Ability to stand on your feet for extended periods of time
