About the Role:
We are seeking a Banquet Server to join our team in Orlando, Florida. As a Banquet Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests during events and banquets. You will work closely with the kitchen and event planning teams to ensure that all guest needs are met and exceeded. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success in this role. Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in a banquet or catering environment

Mandatory Qualifications:
1 year experience in catering
Both white and black bistro uniforms
Knowledge of banquet set up and break down

Responsibilities:
Set up banquet room as instructed by the event planner or supervisor
Attend pre-event meetings with the kitchen and event planning teams to ensure seamless execution of events
Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and professional manner
Clear tables and clean banquet room after events
Assist with inventory and restocking of supplies as needed
Skills:
As a Banquet Server, you will utilize your excellent communication and customer service skills to provide exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities of the Banquet Server at Indian River Preserve Golf Club include:
Assist with the complete setup and breakdown of the banquet area
Read and execute specifications listed on all Banquet Event Orders
Circle around the event with trays of appetizers and beverages
Serve and refill alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Incorporates safe work practices and safe food handling standards
Advises supervisor of any service complaints
Qualifications
Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages (May vary by state)
Must have all certifications and licenses as required by local Health Department and Alcoholic Beverage Commission statutes
Ability to enforce company policies and laws and regulations regarding consumption of alcohol.

Overview
The Bartender is responsible for the service of all beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic. They must be personable, professional and able to work in an ever changing fast-paced environment. The employee must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events as scheduled per business need.
This role will pay an hourly wage of $10.98, plus tips.

Responsibilities
Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent in the areas of guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards.
Follow the bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described.
Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures for serving alcoholic drinks including state/federal regulations pertaining to the distribution of alcohol.
Responsible to learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties & spirits available, and be able to learn to suggestively upsell products to guests.
Must pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size.
Must check guest's ID in accordance with state/federal regulations to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beverages.
Must communicate a cut-off to a guest as required.
Listening and responding to any customer requests or concerns.
Bartenders are expected to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations. If a guest becomes confrontational, belligerent, or uses extreme profanity, the bartender may contact management or security as required.
Contact a management member if he/she is unable to resolve or make a decision beyond the scope of standard decision-making.
Request additional product or restock product as required
Ability to handle cash accurately is required. Employee is responsible for issued bank at his/her bar.
Maintains clean and sanitary work station at all times. Ensures bar equipment is clean & well maintained.
Other duties as assigned such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment as required and assisting with organization of the cooler
Qualifications
Six months or more experience bartending.
Accurate cash handling skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours.

Set the course - Possess complete knowledge of all food and beverage menus - including ingredients, preparation methods, and presentation. Complete all retail product knowledge courses. Actively participate in all location related meetings and training sessions, and apply learned skills on the job.
Build the perfect oasis -
Practice proper cash handling and operation of the point-of-sale system and tips.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for all team members and Guests.
Maintain proper stock levels (including inventory control and ordering) of perishables and spirits according to projected business. Properly care for and store all product.
Verify proper government-issued identification of Guests when alcohol is ordered as required by state and federal law.
Adhere to company and location policies and procedures.

ESSENTIALS FOR LIFE IN PARADISE
