THE ROLE
The Banquet server reports directly to the F&B Manager, with oversite from the Director of F&B. * Review the details of each BEO to set rooms to the expectations of the client and guests; ensuring you have the resources and tools to execute your assignments.
* Be proactive and let the F+B Manager and Sales team know if you are challenged in meeting requests or need their assistance.
* Frequently communicate "must know" information to the kitchen and other support departments prior to and during events.
* Ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all function space, public areas, and service areas on all banquet levels.
* Take the health and safety practices and procedures to keep you and the guests safe seriously and make recommendations if something can be done better.

Responsibilities

You are a team-oriented individual who can create a welcoming atmosphere; detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities with excellent organization and communication skills that translate into positive outcomes for yourself, restaurant staff members, and guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist bartender and manager with efficient bar set up from the beginning to end of shift.
Keep bar stocked with liquor, glasses, napkins, and all other necessary items before and during service.
Prepare garnishes, refill ice wells, change beer kegs, and restock napkins and straws.
Keep bar area neat; cleaning as needed, remove glassware and organize all sections of bar stations.
Coordinate with managers, frontline team members and kitchen staff to ensure efficient service to guests.
Qualifications:
At least 18 years of age.
Friendly and customer-focused personality.
Fast-paced, team-oriented experience.
Ability to stand, walk, and carry service items for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to carry supplies (10-30 lbs.) and move items that are heavy (up to 50lbs.)

Job Summary:
The Banquet Server is responsible for providing banquet service to Members and Guests while consistently displaying a positive attitude with knowledge about the food and beverage menu. Work closely and coordinate with other team members to ensure Member/Guest satisfaction and retention.
Day-to-Day:
Responsible for banquet service to Members and guests, adhering to the company standards of service.
Comprehensive knowledge of the banquet/event menu, a la carte menu, and daily features and specials.
Ensure that room(s) are set up correctly, bussed consistently, and cleaned continually and know how the room needs to be set up for the next event, if applicable.
Possess clear knowledge of all various liquors, beer and wines available at the Club.
Must be able to interact with Members/Guests professionally, helping them with changes and last-minute requests as needed.
About You:
Previous Food and Beverage experience preferred.
Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by State and City.
Completed F&B Service Training.
Excellent communication skills and articulate speech.
Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
You are comfortable working in both indoor and occasional outdoor environments.
A high school diploma or equivalent.
