Job Summary: The greeter is at the forefront of the restaurant operation and is the first and last person to interact with the guest. Other duties as assigned e.g. complies with telephone etiquette and basic welcoming hospitality standards.
Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in a hotel, restaurant, or catering facility of similar caliber preferred.
Basic knowledge of restaurant operations.
Experience in fast paced, high volume atmosphere.
Good organizational and communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to read, write & speak fluent English.
Flexible schedule is necessary which includes but not limited to days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Position requires regular and reliable attendance.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Current Tenessee ABC permit highly preferred. Willingness to obtain one upon hire is required.
1+ years of experience as a bartender in a full-service restaurant
Formal bartending training a plus
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Airport: This position operates in a climate-controlled international airport environment. The temperature, volume of noise, and exposure to the public is outside the control of First Meridian Services, Inc. The position requires use of public spaces as provided by the airport.
Restaurant: This position may require frequent exposure to a restaurant or retail operation environment. Regular exposure to varying temperatures (hot/cold/freezing), fumes, vapors, industrial restaurant equipment, noise, and guests will be a common occurrence.
The nature of restaurant work requires the Bartender to possess certain physical abilities. Those listed here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform this job. Most of the workday is spent standing or walking and working in close proximity to others. Eye-hand coordination, depth perception, finger dexterity, and functional vision and speech perception are required. Some bending, crouching, pushing/pulling and lifting/lowering of 20-50 lbs. Some repetitive motions with hands, wrists, or arms. Must be able to operate all equipment used in the restaurant. Some exposure to skin irritants, electrical equipment, and sharp instruments. Risk to these exposures is minimized by strict adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.

What you'll do:
A rock star with an eye for detail, you are someone who really sets the pace with your service. If you have prior experience in a restaurant that's great, but a stellar personality and the ability to work as a team member are even more important. English communication skills are a must. You are comfortable standing for long periods of time and can lift to 40 pounds. You have availability to work weekends and some holidays.
Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as restocking the bar with garnishes, straws, and napkins, ensuring that Bartenders have clean towels, glassware, etc.
Ensuring bar is well-stocked with ice, liquor, wine, and beer.
Checking taps and appliances to confirm that they are working properly, making minor repairs, or changing out kegs, if needed.
Keeping the bar clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping and mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing coolers and storage areas, and emptying trash receptacles.
Maintain records and report levels of usage to assist in the reordering process and ensuring that delivered items are stored properly.

Position Summary:
Puttshack is looking to attract a diverse team of fun hospitality associates who care deeply about creating an elevated, one-of-a-kind guest experience. The Barback position is crucial to our bartenders as they ensure everything is present to serve our guests efficiently. Additionally, they ensure our dining room, bar, and service areas are clean, sanitized, stocked, and visually appealing. They assist the bartenders in clearing the bar top, cleaning the glassware, and restocking everything needed to deliver a world class experience.
Schedule/Hours:
Our venues are open 7 days/week, typically from 11am-1am with some variations. While we will do our best to accommodate scheduling preferences, they may not always be guaranteed, and we value flexibility. All positions within our venue are variable schedules, meaning a typical schedule may be anywhere between 15 and 30 hours on a weekly basis depending on business needs and individual availability.
Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Bring your 'A' Game each and every day
Maintain a pace sufficient to keep up with different levels of guest visits
Clean and stock glassware and other items such as napkins, straws, etc. around the bar area
Assist Bartenders with refilling bottles, prepping garnishes, etc.
Clean spills and/or broken glasses and keep areas tidy, complying with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
Take direction and be a team player

Required Skills and Experience:
