Responsible for promoting, selling, and upselling items in grab-and-go and portable food cart operations. Remove debris (napkins, straws, etc.) from the floor as necessary. Practice and observe safety rules and regulations and encourage others to do so. Comply with Board of Health Standards. Inform the immediate supervisor of any product shortages and equipment needs. Assist in bussing and/or resetting tables. Have detailed knowledge of the resort and its amenities. Run cash register and handle money. Responsible for register bank and all money, charges, and comps collected during a shift. Follow proper transaction settlement procedures. Must maintain accurate cash handling and blind drop procedures when using a cash bank in accordance with department policies. Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with Alcohol Awareness training. All other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: Must be at 18+ years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. One (1) year of prior experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining proper portion control, safety, health, and service standards. Must have cash handling experience; responsible for all transactions in a Casino environment. Have knowledge of all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit card, points, gift certificates, etc.). Must be willing and able to participate in ongoing training. Must hold/maintain certification with handling (ServSafe) and Alcohol Awareness (TIPS) and the ability to gain/maintain training requirements from both programs. If not already certified, training will be provided. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and management in both written and verbal form. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making. Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all Beyond the Best practices. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule.
