Responsible for register bank and all money, charges, and comps collected during a shift. Follow proper transaction settlement procedures. Must maintain accurate cash handling and blind drop procedures when using a cash bank in accordance with department policies. Serve alcohol responsibly in accordance with Alcohol Awareness training. All other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: Must be at 18+ years of age. High School Diploma or GED required. One (1) year of prior experience preferred. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume environment while maintaining proper portion control, safety, health, and service standards. Must have cash handling experience; responsible for all transactions in a Casino environment. Have knowledge of all methods of check tendering (cash, comp, coupon, credit card, points, gift certificates, etc.). Must be willing and able to participate in ongoing training. Must hold/maintain certification with handling (ServSafe) and Alcohol Awareness (TIPS) and the ability to gain/maintain training requirements from both programs. If not already certified, training will be provided. Must manage time effectively with minimum supervision. Ability to communicate effectively with guests, Team Members, and management in both written and verbal form. Ability to demonstrate sound judgment and mature decision-making. Adhere to all company and department policies and procedures as well as all Beyond the Best practices. Must be able to handle a flexible schedule. Physical Requirements: Requires normal, corrective vision range, the ability to see color, and the ability to distinguish letters, numbers, and symbols. Ability to read, write, and input data into the computer. Must have the manual dexterity to operate job-related equipment. Must have the ability to access all properties and areas. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, push up to 250 pounds on a push cart, and enter walk-ins of between -10 to 40 degrees without assistance. Ability to stand for the duration of their shift. Work Conditions: Work is typically on the casino floor. Work areas may be warm, cold, or noisy and may contain second-hand smoke. Tasks may be required to be performed from a sitting or non-sitting position in a confined area. Team Members may be required to stand, walk, lift, reach, push, pull, and grasp.
