Summary: The Tasting Room Cashier will welcome and direct guests and wine club members into the Tasting Room in a quick and efficient manner while providing excellent service. Performance, commission and schedule is based on sales performance. Stock wine and merchandise as requested by the Tasting Room Manager or Assistant Merchandising Manager. Help with merchandise needs and be able to assist guests with purchasing retail products. Understand and adhere to environmental standards set by the winery. Understand and adhere to the Ponte values and service standards. Ensure the safety of guests and associates. Thank the guest for coming and invite them to come back again. Perform any other duties as required by your Manager. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Must be 21 and over. Ability and willingness to work in a standing position for long periods of time, in indoors + outdoors, during inclement weather. Ability and willingness to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time. Ability and willingness to lift, lower, push, carry, or pull up to 40-50 lbs. on a consistent basis.
