Summary
The Host creates the first impression for Marine Room customers. The Host is essential in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of the Marine Room by supervising and coordinating activities of the employees.

Schedules dining reservations and arranges parties or special services for diners following set procedures.
Arranges parties or special services for meals following the setup procedures.

Promptly answers all incoming calls and accurately handles reservations and message taking.
Assigns work stations and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons.

Delegates responsibility with follow-up to maintain the highest standard of cleanliness.

Qualification Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous experience at a restaurant preferred.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. Must communicate effectively in English.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic math.

Schedule & Hours:
