Objective: Responsible for the set up and operation of stamping equipment in a deadline driven environment.
Essential Functions

* Safe and efficient operation of the stamping/embossing equipment to achieve maximum quality throughout job process; consistently achieves excellent performance during make-readies and production runs by following company SOPs
* Interprets job bag information
* Train personnel in machine operation and troubleshooting skills
* Inspection of each load run; checking random sheets to ensure quality
* If problems found, assists with flagging/isolating/tagging non-conformity product; assists with troubleshooting machinery and making proper corrections to continue processing the order
* Assists with maintaining accurate written records of production; records waste, production time, down time etc.
* Utilizes hand truck to remove loads from press
* Return excess consumables and materials to their designated storage area
* Assists with maintenance duties on press as necessary
* Comply with safety regulations, maintain clean and orderly work areas, wearing all required PPE
* Other duties as assigned

* Strong mechanical/machinery aptitude, problem solving and troubleshooting skills
