What Does A Hotel Concierge Do At All Guest Services

* Welcome customers upon entrance
* Act as the point of reference for guests who need assistance or information and attend to their wishes and requirements, particularly with the local theme parks and attractions
* Understand customer s needs and provide them with personalized solutions by suggesting activities and facilities provided by the hotel
* Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises and the nearby venues and businesses to make the most suitable recommendations
* Sell Theme Park Tickets, Dinner Shows, concerts, sporting events, excursions, transportation etc. upon request from hotel residents
* Answer the phone and make reservations, take and distribute messages or mail and redirect calls
* Respond to complaints and find the appropriate solution Requirements
* Experience in customer service or relevant role is an advantage; Hospitality experience is preferred
* Proficiency in English; multilingual (Spanish or Portuguese) is strongly preferred
* Excellent communication skills
* Polite and confident with a great deal of patience
* Ability in multitasking and time-management
* Aptitude in resolving issues with a customer-focused orientation
* High school diploma; minimum of 1 year living in the Orlando area is preferred

What Does A Hotel Concierge Do At Marriott International

* Schedule services for individuals and large groups using spa/salon reservations software system.
* Call guests to confirm scheduled services.
* Answer questions about available services.
* Update the reservations/cancellations list throughout the day, inform providers of last minute changes, and resolve scheduling issues as needed by working with supervisor/manager.
* Check in guests for appointments, confirm first and last name, and provide general spa orientation to guests upon arrival.
