The average employee age for hotel concierges is 43 years. The hotel concierge workforce reached a whopping 8,053 in 2020! Among those workers, we discovered that 54.9% of them are women, while 37.1% are men. The most common race/ethnicity among hotel concierges is White, which makes up 52.9% of all hotel concierges. Comparatively, there are 22.8% of the Hispanic or Latino ethnicity and 11.6% of the Black or African American ethnicity. Hotel concierges are also more likely to work at private companies in comparison to public companies. Taking it a step further, hotel concierges are more likely to find a job in the hospitality industry.

From where do we know all information about hotel concierge demographics? We analyzed 343 hotel concierges resumes to find out what the average demographics are for the job position. Just to be clear, by demographics we mean the study of population-based factors like age, race, and sex. On top of scouring through resumes, we also took note of job proposals from employers and Census Bureau data. And guess what? We found some pretty interesting information.
