Job Purpose:
Cleans and prepares cabins and common areas by meeting established standards of cleanliness and propriety to assure guest satisfaction and maximize revenues. Warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance reassures guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.
Prepare for your shift by loading your personal vehicle with cleaning kits, cleaning equipment, welcome materials, and linen bags.
Ensure every cabin is perfectly staged for every guest by cleaning and staging the interior of the cabin (bathroom, kitchen, dining, and bed area), cleaning and staging the exterior of the cabin (picnic table and fire pit area), and placing welcome items/provisions.
Solve problems proactively in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.
End your shift by unloading cleaning kits, cleaning equipment, welcome materials, and linen bags from Outpost vehicle; restock your cleaning supplies at the end of each day.
Operate with integrity and sound judgment, always respect your team and our guests, and hold yourself accountable.
Adhere to standard operating procedures and company values.
Cleans and wipes windows, doors, walls, closets and fixtures in rooms, public areas and hallways, often using ladders or stools to clean hard to reach areas, in order to maintain a clean, presentable and attractive facility at all times.
Washes shower walls and tub, cleans toilet(s) and stall walls if applicable, wipes exposed pipes, cleans mirrors, sink(s) and walls in order to have clean and sanitary guest and public restrooms.
Replaces towels, soaps and all cabin amenities and restocks literature that has been removed by previous guest or is soiled and torn to ensure adequate supply for arriving guests.
Washes all hard floor areas (linoleum, tile, etc.) by hand to remove dirt and soiled areas.
Dusts and polishes all furniture, fixtures and wall hangings including using a duster to reach vents and ceiling corners to remove dust and cobwebs.
Strips bed of all linen and remakes with fresh linen, checking bedspread, blankets and bed pads for cleanliness, replacing if soiled. Lifts mattresses to check for soil between mattresses and under bed.
Checks cabinets for cleanliness, wiping closet door, handle and overhead shelves and restocking the cabin supplies such as dishes, extra blankets and pillows.
Vacuums cabin and public areas, operating vacuums weighing up to 25lbs., and lifting/moving heavy furniture in order to vacuum entire area of carpet including underneath furniture and hard to reach areas.
Inspects all door and window locks to ensure they are in working order and immediately alerts management to an unsecured or unsafe situation for the safety of guests and employees.
Inspects all cabin equipment (TV, lights/lamps, faucets, radios) to ensure proper working order and immediately reports all room status and room maintenance deficiencies, in writing, to their supervisor for prompt repair/resolution.
Secures and maintains custody of equipment and supplies at all times in order to protect and preserve Outpost property.
Maintains a friendly, cheerful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management.
Assists with laundry by retrieving soiled linen, sorting laundry into correct size loads, utilizing industrial washers, dryers and pressers, folding and distributing the cleaned linen to storage accordingly.
Cleans patio areas by sweeping or hosing the floor and wiping down all furniture and fixtures, picking up garbage and cleaning patio doors and windows.
Provides assistance to other employees and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and Outpost.
Qualifications and Requirements:
High School diploma / Secondary qualification or equivalent.
Experience with Marriott cleaning standards a plus

This job requires the ability to perform the following:
Must have basic knowledge of general cleaning principles, use of cleaning products and operation of standard cleaning equipment.

Job Purpose:
This Position provides excellent customer service, oversees property maintenance repairs, assists in ensuring each cabin is ready for guest arrivals, and leads by example during all daily tasks. This position must present warm, knowledgeable service and helpful guidance to reassure guests they've made the right choice to stay with us.
Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service by monitoring the guest ticketing system to ensure tickets are answered in a timely manner, including during nights and weekends.
Ensure cabin maintenance repairs and glitches are handled immediately, whether by dispatching a Facilities Technician, contractor, or self-performing.
Ensure every cabin is perfectly staged for every guest including cleaning and staging the interior of the cabin (bathroom, kitchen, dining, and bed area), cleaning and staging the exterior of the cabin (picnic table and fire pit area), doing laundry, and placing welcome items/provisions.
Perform inspections on cleaned cabins to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness are being met for our guests.
Create and execute ideas to surprise and delight guests; aim to make every interaction personal, meaningful, and memorable.

Skills
Experienced in directly overseeing facilities maintenance programs (2-4+ years).
Experienced in industries similar to hospitality, residential multi-family, small health care or education (3+ years).

Job Purpose:

Responsibilities
Loading the outpost vehicle with cleaning equipment, extra guest supplies, and firewood.
Prep the cabin interiors to be cleaned by removing all trash, stripping all linens, and re-stocking cabin provisions.
Ensure every cabin's outdoor space is perfectly staged for every guest by cleaning and staging the lounge area (fire pit, campfire kit, Adirondack chairs, and picnic table), cleaning the cabin exteriors (windows, hitch, and wheels), and by removing all trash.
Responds to guest concerns, complaints or suggestions appropriately, refers them to management in support of providing superior guest service.
May gather waste and/or contaminated materials for disposal. Assigned areas of the Outpost may include cabins, trails, and common areas.
Maintains privacy and security by properly announcing entry and servicing cabins as appropriate.
Properly uses and maintains assigned equipment and supplies to departmental specifications, including vacuums, chemicals and cleaning aides.
Properly maintains the daily log, including accounting for completed tasks and reviewing the communications log and file on a routine basis.
Properly handles lost and found items in accordance with department policies and security procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned by Management.

Job Purpose:
