With over 10,000 visitors a day it is a great place to live and play. We employ approximately 100 people over the course of the summer season from early May through October. We are looking for staff who are energetic and interested in meeting new people from other parts of the country as well as other cultures. We provide board for our staff. Continental Breakfast, light lunch and dinner daily is prepared for you in our staff kitchen and served at prescribed times. We make every effort to provide well-balanced and nutritious meals. Employees enjoy some of the best room and board available on Mackinac at the Hotel Iroquois featuring an apartment style complex out of downtown in the residential district adjoining the State Park property and trails. The requirements of the Stock position include: Receive deliveries, store perishables properly, and rotate stock. Ensure clean wares are stored in appropriate areas Stock and maintain supplies and equipment Break down cardboard boxes and place them and other recyclables in the recycling bin Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weigh less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping Move along sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces Education and Experience: High school diploma or GED No experience needed, on the job training provided Food safety knowledge and related experience preferred

Position Summary: Perform routine preventative maintenance and repair to include guest room calls. Tasks Include: Perform any combination of front desk services include taking reservations on computer, talking to guests, check-in/out, posting credit card and cash payments and charges to guest rooms, giving directions, light dusting of office area, folding towels during down time & communicating with housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are cleaned. Assist with continental breakfast- Heat up food and restock food and wipe surfaces. Assist with stocking supply rooms with amenities, counting inventory, light exterior cleaning of building and landscape including weeds, trash, webs and other debris. Other duties may include delivering requested items to guest rooms. 35 hours per week. 7-hour workday. M-Sun. 7am-3pm and 3pm-11pm. Days off and shifts vary. OT varies. No minimum education required. 3 months experience is required Wage and Job Details: Wage: $17.78/hr. OT Wage: $26.67/hr. Workers paid bi-weekly. Optional board/lodging available at a cost of $200 every two weeks to be deducted from pay if elected. In accordance with applicable Michigan state law, Earned Sick Time Act 338, employers are required to provide earned sick time to their employees. The amount of paid sick leave provided may vary depending on the size of the business. On the job training provided. Raises and/or bonuses may be offered to any worker in the specified occupation, at the company s sole discretion, based on individual factors including work performance, skill and tenure. Single workweek will be used to compute wages due. All deductions from the worker s paycheck required by law will be made. If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker s voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel to a maximum of $68/day with receipts.
