Keweenaw National Historical Park (KNHP) is a partnership park, intertwining federal, state, and local ownerships. A Fish & Feathers Intern at KNHP, will participate in the expansion of the Casting to Connect Our Copper Country Communities program to include other partner sites, including Heritage Sites. KNHP has 23 Heritage Sites within Keweenaw, Houghton, Ontonagon, and Baraga counties. They will work closely with park and partner to do select locations for fishing camps around the Keweenaw and do historical research and create programing that connects the history of each location to participants of the fishing clinics.
