POSITION SUMMARY
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments. Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms. Post caution signs. Contact other departments directly for urgent repairs. Deliver guest requests and set up furniture items in guest rooms as requested. Remove items from hallways and transport to service areas, including debris, room service food and beverage trays, unread newspapers, soiled linens, and trash placed near Housekeeper carts. Clean, maintain, and store cleaning equipment.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Support team to reach common goals. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 55 pounds without assistance and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance. Ability to push and pull a loaded a housekeeping cart and other work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects). Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Move up and down a ladder. Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for an extended period across an entire work shift. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.

JOB SUMMARY: Professionally clean customer homes using Merry Maids' unique cleaning procedures and products. Overall objectives are to leave the home looking and smelling freshly cleaned and groomed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean, dust cobwebs, cleaning all hanging light fixtures and dusting baseboards and windowsills each cleaning.
Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean, sanitize, and deodorize all bathroom fixtures, showers, tubs, toilets, sinks, mirrors and vanities.
Uses Merry Maids' cleaning products and procedures to clean kitchen appliances, counters, cabinets, tables and chairs.
Vacuum stairways and vacuum or sweep and then wash all hard surface floors on hands and knees using Merry Maids' products and procedures.
Moves all reasonably movable furniture in rooms to clean under and behind. Vacuums all upholstered furniture, including under all cushions each cleaning.
Carries cleaning products and equipment to and from office, vehicle, and customers' homes.
Contributes to a positive work climate with a pleasant attitude and contributes to the overall team effort of the company including being in uniform, dependable and on time.

As a

Key Responsibilities
You will be the key to ensuring our hotel guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment during their stay.
Your daily tasks will include making beds, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining cleanliness in guest rooms.
You will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Executive Housekeeper.

Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Clean and reset the bedroom and bathroom areas of each guest room/suite in accordance to operational standards.
Must be able to clean at least 15 guest rooms/suites within 8 hours.
Maintain upkeep, inspect, clean and reset after use all rollaways and cribs.
Responsible for upkeep of vacuums.
Keep linen closet and carts tidy, organized, and stocked.
Daily completion of assigned room lists/boards.
Report missing items to the Housekeeping Management. Package and tag missing items and deliver to the lost and found in housekeeping.
Report items in need of repair to the Housekeeping Management or Engineering.
Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers.
Keep all doors closed when cleaning for safety and security purposes.
Additional tasks may be assigned as necessary; vacuum hallways, clean spills, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized work area.
