WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Housekeeping Public Area Attendant you will maintain the public areas of the hotel for both our internal and external guests and will assist your Room Attendant colleagues by replenishing all Housekeeping supplies on the floors. You are happiest when you are helping others and enjoy working in a job where you are constantly on the move and accomplishing tasks - and it just so happens you'll be doing just that in an award-winning hotel.
PM Shift will be 2:30pm - 11pm
Properly cleaning and maintaining the assigned areas of the hotel
Maintaining cleanliness of Guest Elevator foyer, including elevator doors and tracks, ash urns, windows and plant stands
Maintaining cleanliness of all hallway signage, pictures, light fixtures, fire extinguishers, air vent and walls
Picking up and remove all visible trash and room service items
Vacuuming and edge cleaning hall carpet on each assigned floor
Replenishing all Housekeeping supplies on the guest room floor storage rooms
Completing inventory assignments
Assist in completing guest requests and staff request calls.
Assist in placing linen/supplies in floor closets and clearing the chute.
Providing warm and friendly service for both internal or external guests
Actively participating in morning briefings
Participating in any scheduled training and development programs
Following all safety rules, emergency procedures and fire prevention regulations.
Reporting maintenance items
Returning all lost and found articles to Risk Management
Following all hotel and departmental policies and procedures and service standards
Any other tasks that may be assigned
Physical aspects of the position include but are not limited to the following:
Constant standing and walking throughout the shift

The Facilities Cleaning Crew plays a vital role in delivering best-in-class fan experiences to guests of Wrigley Field. THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Perform general housekeeping functions which consist of cleaning the ballpark seating areas, restrooms, concourses and exterior areas as well as other buildings on our campus.
Prepare restrooms for Cubs games and events by performing detailed cleaning of fixtures such as walls, toilets, urinals, sinks and faucets. Stock all dispensers and ensure that all areas are 'fan-ready'.
Monitor restrooms and concourse areas during events. Patrols an assigned section of the ballpark and ensures that cleanliness is maintained to the highest standards at all time
Participate in the organization's commitment to safety by ensuring that floors are free and clear from slip hazards during Cubs games and events. Use appropriate safety signage and mops floors as required
Empty concourse trash and recycling containers before, during and after Cubs games and events.
Patrol the exterior of the ballpark and maintain appropriate levels of cleanliness by sweeping, emptying trash and recycling containers, cleaning up spills and removing graffiti.
Assist the Grounds Crew with field duties such as tarp deployment or removal of the ballpark infield
Report any unruly or customer related issues to command center
Various other duties as required
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
Must be able to perform the following physical tasks: bend at the waist, squat, kneel, twist, climb flights of stairs, walk on uneven ground, walk up and down ramps, walk and stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular and continuing basis and lift up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis
Ability to work the minimum number of hours per season (270) including nights, weekends and holidays throughout the year. This averages to be about 45 hours a month. (March through October).
Ability to assist all guests in a warm and positive manner, ensuring their experience at Wrigley Field makes each fan feel that this visit was their best visit.

Luggage Handling: Store and retrieve luggage or packages for guests in storage areas, as needed.
Cleaning and Trash Management:Clean and maintain the guest hallways, stairwells, service areas and ice rooms. Collect trash from all exterior garbage receptacles, as well as picking up trash and debris from the parking lot, swimming pool area and common grounds. All front and back of house areas should be well-organized and clean. Collect trash and soiled linen from the housekeepers and deliver to laundry room.
Furniture Upkeep: Monitor placement and condition of public space furniture, report issues to management.
Restocking: Maintain stock levels in guest floor linen closets and guest amenities. Replenish amenities and supplies in assigned guestrooms. Stock and maintain housekeeping cart.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred.
Can-Do Attitude: Must have a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to Follow Guidelines: Must be able to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures.
Handle Pace and Pressure: Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations.

Call Outs:Provide sufficient notice as directed by your supervisor when calling out for a scheduled shift.
