PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:
Help keep a smooth workflow between the kitchen area and guests. Work in a fast-paced environment to get proper orders out to guest to achieve overall guest satisfaction.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB DUTIES:
Ensure orders are being prepared correctly.
Supports staff by assisting with delivery of food items to guests.
Work in fast pace, high volume environment, paying attention to detail.
Maintains a neat, clean, organized, safe work environment.
Transports and polishes clean wares, utensils and accessories to area needed.
Must comply with opening and closing as well as on-going side work duties.
Maintains consistent communication with the staff and management team.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day, practicing clean-as-you-go procedures and utilizing cleaning to adhere to health and safety standards.
Stack trays properly for efficient unloading for stewarding and ensure proper safety standards at all times.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, associates may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Perform other duties as assigned.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must enjoy working with a team in an outdoor environment with extreme temperatures.
Requires the ability to lift and carry object weighing up to 30 pounds.
Standing for 90 % of work shift is required.
Activities include standing, reaching, bending, pushing, pulling, handling, lifting, carrying, seeing, hearing, talking, walking.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:
Able to learn and retain new menu information on a daily basis in order to effectively articulate to guest.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
1-2 years experience as a server preferred.
LICENSES OR CERTIFICATES:
Food Handler's Certificate required.
CPR Certification and/or First Aid Training preferred.
