JOB SUMMARY: Maintains all assigned areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Performs cleaning/sanitizing tasks as outlined on the shift/daily/weekly/monthly cleaning schedules, which may include wash, dust, polish vacuum and sweep all areas of the facility. Cleans and sanitizes sinks, tubs, showers and toilets according to prescribed sanitary standards. Cleans and sanitizes office and common areas including public and private restrooms, nursing areas and patient laundry areas as directed. Cleans, sanitizes, and maintains all flooring according to facility cleaning schedules, which may include tiled, carpeted, polished concrete, wood and other flooring types. Cleans and sanitizes linens according to organizational protocol and keep a separation of dirty and clean linens within the laundry storage area. Distributes clean linens and paper goods according to facility schedule. Restocks cleaning and paper supplies according to organizational guidelines. Follows safety guidelines when using cleaning chemicals, appliances, and other commercial housekeeping equipment. Removes trash, boxes or other soiled materials to appropriate containers in a timeframe that ensures patient/visitor and staff safety and infection control in addition to following regulatory guidelines. Inspects housekeeping equipment to ensure safety prior to use. Use housekeeping equipment according to manufacturer and facility direction. Promptly notify business manager of any concerns. Maintains clean laundry, housekeeping and storage rooms that are free from fire and other hazards. Observes and reports any maintenance issues according to business manager guideline. Adheres to health and safety regulations pertinent to facility, organization, state or other regulatory body to promote and increase infection control. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Residential treatment facility setting; requires walking throughout the facility and may require moving between buildings/rooms in temperature extremes. Able to work non-typical hours, which could include early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays; able to work overtime to the extent necessary. Able to push, pull, pull up, bend at the knees and waist, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, kneel, squat, crawl, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, grasp other items with hands, for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the workday.     The Houseman plays a supportive our housekeeping and front desk operations. This hybrid role is critical in ensuring a clean, organized, and guest-ready environment throughout the property while also providing crucial backup coverage for basic engineering tasks and guest service requests. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain cleanliness and order in all guest hallways and public areas. Stock and organize linen closets on each floor to ensure housekeeping teams are fully supported. Prepare and stage housekeeping carts in accordance with the daily board and assignment sheet. Keep public restrooms clean, stocked, and presentable throughout the shift. Remove trash from common areas and designated collection points, particularly from the front of the property. Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens and towels. Assist in maintaining a consistent flow of clean linens for room turnover and guest use. Respond to guest room service calls as needed (e.g., minor maintenance requests). Provide short-term coverage for front desk when the solo agent must respond to in-room guest calls, ensuring that the lobby is not left unattended. Support completion of assigned housekeeping or maintenance projects as directed by management. Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS Education & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Prior experience in housekeeping, laundry, or light maintenance preferred. Required Skills/Abilities Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and time management skills. Dependability and initiative in identifying and addressing property needs. Willingness to assist across departments to ensure optimal guest experience. Schedule The work schedule is based on the demands of the business you must be available days, nights, weekends, and/or holiday availability are required. Physical, Mental and Environmental & Technical Demands Fast-paced environment, multiple tasks to be handled under time constraint. Must be able to bend, crouch, kneel, and twist in the work area. Must be able to maneuver around property. Must be able to sit, walk and stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to operate a computer, telephone, and copier. Must have manual dexterity to operate all office equipment. Grooming All employees must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.
