Join our Housekeeping Team to provide a clean and safe entertainment facility for our external and internal customers. What you will be doing Ensures all areas of the facility, casino, and BOH sensitive areas are ready for operation by thoroughly cleaning, dusting and polishing all areas when facility is closed. Ensures all public areas of facility and casino are maintained for daily operations by thoroughly cleaning, dusting and polishing all customer areas. Follows all safety guidelines and organizational policies. Uses all appropriate housekeeping equipment to perform the job. Maintains clean floors by waxing and vacuuming carpeted areas. Ensures that all trash cans are changed on a regular basis. All other assigned duties. The ideal candidate for this position High School diploma or equivalent, or 2+ years of housekeeping experience preferred. Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check. Must pass drug testing as per company's Drug Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks. Must be able to stand for 8 hours. Must be familiar with all housekeeping equipment. Must be able to lift at least 50lbs. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays. May be required to assist customers in an open, well-ventilated, semi-enclosed terrace where cigarette and cigar smoking is permitted. Must apply and obtain the appropriate state occupational gaming license, which includes lifetime FBI criminal background check.     The Hillsboro Club is looking for an experienced Housekeeping Room Attendant to support and oversee all aspects of the housekeeping department. This position will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas while maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction. We are looking for someone with experience in hospitality, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the drive to contribute to the continued success of our luxury property. The Club operates 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, so operational demands require variations in shift days, starting and ending times, and hours worked in a week. This is full-time position with competitive hourly compensation, paid biweekly. General Requirements Stocks Room Attendant's cart and hand caddy. Strips and remakes beds with fresh linen. Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays. Cleans guestrooms and public areas. Wipes all window sills, walls and light switches. Vacuums rugs and floors. Dusts all furniture and fixtures. Checks lamps for burned-out light bulbs. Puts membership packet, comment card and room service menu on desk; make sure all phone books are in top desk drawer. Checks drapes for missing hooks. Wipe mirrors and windows. Checks heating and air conditioning unit for proper operation. Changes mattress pads and blankets, if needed. Restocks all stationaries. Cleans and sanitizes toilets. Washes tiles, tub, shower walls and fixtures. Wipes shower curtain. Cleans sink and fixtures. Cleans walls, baseboards and floor. Restocks towels, wash cloths, soap, glasses and other supplies and amenities. Reports when guestrooms are clean and ready for sale. Vacuums guest room hallways. Washes, dries and folds laundry. Stocks storage rooms. Attends staff meetings. Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by the Housekeeper Manager. Education and Experience: High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable. One year of comparable work is preferred. Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning and preserving a wide variety of surfaces. Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies. Knowledge of and ability to perform the required role in emergency situations. Positive and professionally motivated to complete any task. Flexibility to work evening and weekend shifts as needed. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.
