Primary Responsibilities/Duties Custodian Maintains the cleanliness of the following areas by sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, scrubbing, and utilizing other types of cleaning tools/techniques as necessary: base lodge, lower level and dining area of the upper level base lodge hallways, lunch room, restrooms and conference room Children's Learning Center Business Services and Administration Offices and restrooms Mountain Operations lunch room and restrooms Cleans all windows and doors, inside and out Keeps janitor's closets in good order and fully stocked Orders and maintains cleaning supply inventory Other duties as assigned within the Mountain Operations area Core Skills Knowledge of MSDS policies/requirements Honest, friendly, and enthusiastic customer service skills Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Professional, positive attitude in all interactions Computer Skills N/A Tools/Equipment Vacuum Cleaner Cleaning Tools (duster, scrubbers, etc.) Certifications/Licenses/Training Seasonal Orientation All Safety Training related to position, including company-wide safety processes and procedures Work Environment This position is based both inside and outside, and is exposed to temperature extremes (above 85 degrees and below 20 degrees), sun and wind, inclement weather (rain, snow, ice) and high altitudes (8200+ feet). Exposure to chemicals, including disinfectants, used in cleaning. Must be able to walk on even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend even/uneven/slippery terrain, climb/descend stairs, stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, twist, kneel, push, pull, and lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
