The Houseperson works as part of the housekeeping team. The houseperson help keep the hallways, and the rest of the hotels floors and doors clean. Provides assistance and support to the Guest Room Attendants. In addition to responding to guest requests and provide exceptional guest service. Core Job Responsibilities: Must clean and maintain assigned guest hallways, elevators/landings, linen closets, ash/trash urns, vending areas and stairwells. Must clean and maintain assigned service landings and locker rooms. Must complete all special projects assigned by floor supervisor and or management. Follow the lead of housekeeping supervisor and accept any additional tasks and assignments deemed necessary. Qualifications: Six months to one-year previous experience as a houseperson is preferred. Minimum one-year customer service experience preferred with ability to provide courteous friendly and efficient service to all guests every time is required. Must be able to get along well with co-workers and work well as a team. Must always conduct self in a professional manner. Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to all departmental and company policies. Must be able to verbally communicate in English.
