The Apartment Cleaner is responsible for ensuring that vacant units and common areas are thoroughly cleaned and move-in ready. This role plays a vital part in maintaining high cleanliness standards throughout the property, providing residents with a welcoming and well-maintained living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform deep cleaning of vacant apartments, including kitchens, bathrooms, living areas, and bedrooms.
Sanitize and clean appliances, countertops, sinks, tubs, showers, and toilets.
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and shampoo carpets as needed.
Remove dust, cobwebs, and debris from vents, baseboards, windows, and all surfaces.
Dispose of leftover trash and any remaining items from previous tenants.
Report any damages or maintenance issues that require repairs after move-in.
Properly use and store cleaning chemicals and equipment while following safety protocols.
Work efficiently to meet turnover deadlines and support the maintenance team as needed.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in common areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and leasing offices.
Conduct routine inspections to ensure cleanliness and identify maintenance needs.
Monitor and manage cleaning supplies, ensuring appropriate inventory levels.
Take on heavy-duty cleaning tasks and assist with special projects as requested by management.
Notify management of any deficiencies, repair needs, or potential safety hazards.
Keep supply rooms and equipment storage areas clean and organized.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in apartment turnover cleaning, janitorial work, or similar roles preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and thoroughly.
Ability to follow cleaning checklists and procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Valid Driver's License
At least 2 year's of cleaning experience
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to walk the grounds and apartments, ascend stairs around the property, lift 60 lbs., climb ladders over 10 feet, and perform other general physical activities such as bending, kneeling, pushing.
